Perfect backyard addition!

We were looking into replacing a traditional fire pit for a long time. Came across Solo Stove, and we are looking forward to spending many nights around our Yukon! This would be a great addition to anyone’s backyard. Burns hot and enjoy the bundle we bought with it, the sticks and the shelter. Thank you for making such a well made product that we will enjoy for years to come!!

We’ve had this stove for 4 months now it lives up to the hype. Thinking about getting a ranger for campin. It’s smokeless, let’s off some good heat on cold nights and is everything we were looking for. Very pleased.

I’m in LOVE!

We are in the process of building a new patio area and fire pit. After having the rocks from our last fire pit all break in half from the heat, we were trying to figure out how to build one that would last. I came across a post on a lawn care forum of someone showing off their solostove. I asked where I could find one and I immediately sent it to my husband to check out and purchased that day. We could not wait to get it. The stove was shipped the same day and arrived a couple of days later. We are in love! The night we got it, we roasted hotdogs and smores. It really does produce less smoke. It is easy to use and you can leave it to burn out on its own. We got the largest one and it is perfect. We are considering getting the smallest one for travel. It cost about as much as building your own, but it took way less time and if we need to move it, it’s easy to do!

Burnt my first fire in new yukon stove it heated up quickly and burned hot . Needs handles and would like to be able to remove inside grate for clean out. Plan on lowering in ground a bit because heat leve is higher.

Handles?

The only thing I can think that would enhance this would be handles on the side for moving and ridding of ashes, as it is large so I think handles would be a plus.

Yukon Solo Stove - The Definition of a Fire Pit!
on October 16, 2019

I could not be more pleased with our new fire pit and the Yukon delivers on all things I wanted. The quality is above and beyond anything I've seen in previous fire pits I've owned. The fire burns hot, clean with little smoke and clean up is a breeze. The clean surface of the fire pit delivers a really cool effect as well with reflections of the fire and helps light the whole area. Nice job Solo Stove. Thank you for creating the benchmark.

Yukon Review
on October 18, 2019

The Yukon was shipped on time as promised. It arrived in 4 business days. Unpacking was simple even though the product is heavy. Set up was easy once out of the box, just put the fire ring on and build a fire. Initial smoke was expected and it did occur as expected, but once the logs caught, the fire was hot and virtually no smoke. It was perfect for a breezy 60 degree evening to take the chill off.
I would have given the Yukon 5 stars but I learned from an on line chat that the grate cannot be removed to provide easy access to ash removal. I was advised that the only way to remove them is to turn the unit upside down or on its side and use an ash vacuum. This is going to be clumsy and messy for sure but there is no choice. I am pretty sure Solo Stove will modify this feature in the future but I am stuck with this method of removing ashes. If I had done more research I may have made another choice.
