Who knew I could love a fire pit so much! Beautifully designed, premium materials, and works SO well! It is so beautiful that I can’t help but want to keep it pristine as a work of art. But then, we need to make s’mores so.... best pandemic purchase ever!

The Yukon Stove is Perfect! Perfect size for any backyard or front yard for that matter! My Boyfriend & I love it! And it’s not to heavy, easy for me to move around. Burns amazingly! Nice even burn with Beautiful flames! Such a great addition if anyone’s looking for that Perfect Fire-pit. It’s made our backyard my new Heaven!

Buy the bundle

First off, this is our best outdoor purchase of the year. We use it all the time and it’s perfect for 2 to 8 people if you’re distancing. We’ve been using walnut but any hardwood (remove the bark if you can) works great. It will burn soft woods but they get used up quickly and put off more smoke. Second, save yourself the trouble and get the backyard bundle. You’ll need the shield in most places (unless you’re on the beach) and even if you use your Yukon on a fireproof surface, the stand makes it easier to pickup and put down. We store ours in a shed, but I still use the shelter when I set it up in inclement weather to keep the kindling dry. It takes very little to fire this up. I use 1/2 of a paper grocery bag and two handfuls of sticks. Once the sticks are burning fill it up with wood and put the shield on. When you’re done just let it burn down. I live on 6 acres of prairie grass and have had no issues (prairie grass is 30’ from the stove.

Rockin' the Yukon

Friends have the bonfire fire pit - really performs well. For our new deck and outdoor kitchen we went with the larger Yukon. Large gatherings are awesome with the low-smoke Yukon. Highly recommend this fire pit.

If looks is what is important to you than this is your baby. Otherwise, it doesn't put out much heat(due to the height of outer wall) and it is not smokeless as advertised.

Buy the Bundle

Save yourself the time of reordering and just get the bundle. You may not need the stand but it will make it easier to lift if you use your Yukon on a heatproof surface. You will need the shield to keep embers under control and the shelter is handy in the fall and spring when you want to build a fire during periods of inclement weather. The Yukon is perfect for 2-8 people distancing in the backyard. Make a small stick fire and then fill it with hardwood and you're set. Hardwoods work better and burn longer but any wood will burn fine. Taking the bark off will cut down on smoke. Cleaning is a matter of dumping ashes the next day. My unit arrived with minor damage but Solostove's customer service was great to work with. In all seriousness, this was our best purchase of the summer. We'd order another one in a heartbeat.

I have used our new Yukon Stove several times since it arrived. It is beautiful and performs even better. We got the complete bundle and it is nice to be able to cover it after use. Cools down quickly. Lights up easily. burns hot with little smoke! No more coming in and smelling like a camp fire. AWESOME!!
