Family Time Around The Yukon

Worth the money

Expensive. I’ve used this for two days since receiving. The Yukon performed really well. Very efficient burning cherry wood with minimal starters. Gave off a ton of heat and was visually appealing. The sides are very hot, but they don’t radiate heat at all. I didn’t think it was hot so tried to touch...don’t do it. The stand is ice cold the entire time as we burned on our wood deck with no issues. I was surprised how quickly the unit cooled down after all embers went out. I guess the same reasons it recycles the warm air contributes to super fast cool down. Turning the unit over to dump the ash is cumbersome but that’s really the only negative I can think of. I purchased the tools, sticks, shelter and stand. Everything was very sturdy, well built and visually appealing. In my opinion all of the items are extremely well engineered and built and worth the money. We debated for almost 6 months on the purchase and now wishing we would have purchased earlier.

I love bonfires again!

We live on a lake. My husband loves to have bonfires in the evening. I do too but the smoke is always an issue for me. I’m allergic to smoke it normally causes an argument. But the Solo Stove is truly amazing! Virtually no smoke I stood at the fire last night and didn’t smell like smoke when I walked away. I love this stove and bonfires again. Thank you Solo!

Can not appreciate the yukon until you burn logs for the first time. It’s like magic. No smoke. your clothes do not smell either. Smoke does not travel. It is the best fire pit I have ever owned.
