Having been primarily an Ooni user at my parents’ house, I was a little skeptical of using anything else. Someone bought this for us as a wedding gift and I couldn’t be happier; in fact, I like it more than the Ooni. There is definitely a little bit of room for improvement with it, but for what it is, it is a fantastic Pizza oven. I’ve made about 10 or 12 pies in it and they just keep getting better and better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Pi Prime for Christmas (the dog gives the best presents!) Our first try was definitely trial and error. I didn't have any of the accessories yet, so launching was interesting and messy! I finally have all the tools and my first pizzas of the summer were quite good. Still room for growth. I now have decided what temp I like and how to do my launch better. Now comes the fun with different doughs and toppings. I make sourdough and I love using my starter sometimes for a tangy pizza dough. Here's to summer and pizza!

Incredible bang for the buck (pizza + BBQ replacement)

I haven't used many pizza ovens, but find this one works incredibly well. Plugs in easily to propane tank and the stone heats up to 750F in 20-25 mins. I've already had amazing pizza off this thing in just the first round of trying it. I've also cooked burgers and lots of vegetable in this (takes a 40 min roast in the oven down to 7 mins!). For pizza, the key is waiting for the stone to reach a high enough temp, otherwise the pizza will stick and rip. I would also say the round spatula/turner with super long handle they sell is a must, I burned my finger trying to use a short grill spatula.
This oven isn't as portable as the Ooni due to the more bulky round shape, but I don't need to move it around.
