Loose Fan... rattling noise

Whiny cooling fan

We put all Frigidaire appliances in our newly constructed home. Happy with dishwasher and fridge, but this gallery stove not so much. From the moment you turn the oven on until about half an hour after you turn it off, this cooling fan has an unpleasant pitch. We’ve had repair folks out twice to replace the cooling fan, the convection fan, the heat probe, the control panel. It now heats properly, but the whine is still there and we are told that’s the way this new oven sounds. Not optimal for an open concept home. The cooktop aspect is fine, but I really don’t like the whiny noise and am going to try to trade it back. As it was purchased months ahead of installation, and installed about a month before we moved into our home, and therefore did not have a chance to try it out earlier, we’ll see how that goes. In a nutshell, we would not purchase this oven again.

WE love the gas burners, grates, grill, & air fryer. It’s a beautiful stove that we cherish very much, we converted our stove to propane gas. I love cooking with our iron skillets & our dutch oven The grates are so strong & easy clean-up. Our Gallery 30 inch gas stove is a good looking addition to our kitchen & looking forward to cooking many meals with this professional appliance that really is a beautiful piece in our kitchen!

Beautiful stove but fan is loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 23 yr old gas stove with this Frigidaire gallery. It cooks and bakes beautifully and looks great. My only complaint is the oven fan. It’s rather loud and is an unpleasant pitch. It runs any time the oven is in whether convection or not. And it stays on for awhile after the oven is shut off while it’s cooling down. So when I bake a nice dinner and we are sitting at the table eating we have to listen to this unpleasantly pitched fan in the background. I’m not sure if that’s just the way ovens are made now or if it’s specific to this stove - I wish we could’ve heard it in the showroom.

Outstanding features...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best range ever, (excluding Wolf, Vulcan, etc.) I finally have a center burner that actually works... how about that Maytag and LG??? My 2 previous ranges... their center burner NEVER got hot enough to heat anything let alone actually use it to cook with.
Burned pancakes on the 1st try with this baby... had to kick the center burner down to a setting of 2....WOW!!! really impressed... way to go Frigidaire.
Love the steam baking... just like the baguettes throughout France.
Can't wait to try all the new great features of this marvelous range.
Now the only con is NOT including the air fryer basket nor the center burner GRATE with the range. And there-in lies the problem... they're difficult to find to purchase. Your website doesn't even have the center burner grate available.
All-in-all love this range!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the new range for a week. It has some issues. The front knobs are very easy to accidently turn on. If you reach over them they turn just enough to let gas out but not enough to ignite. So now I'm more careful reaching over.
The middle grill is a waste, too small for family use. Sandwiches are fine, but not big enough for pancakes. The set up of the grates is odd. Because of the middle griddle, the other burners aren't centered. The grates are very heavy.
The oven is fine so far. Still learning how all the different things work with that, Convection, Airfryer, Regular, probe.

Limited lock feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed to discover after installation the lock feature only locks the door and control panel. I wanted a stove that locks the burners knobs. To me this is more important than the control panel. If there is something I could buy to provide this feature I would be very interested.

OVEN RACKS FAIL AND FALL DOWN WITH A LOAD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooking bread in Dutch ovens cannot be done. The oven racks are flimsy and do not fit the side guides properly. The support is weak. We have had numerous failures and have needed to extract 450degF Dutch ovens from a hot oven. See photo.
