It’s too loud make a whistling sound when the fan kick on high when set on auto my prior shark air purifier came with a remote this didn’t feel like shark down graded me with this replacement. I guess I’m looking for a new brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t Waste Your Money

Expensive junk. Changed filter every 60 days, stopped working after owning for 11 months. Buy Levoit instead

Could Be Better

Design & size fits nicely anywhere. It seems to do well on auto but it doesn’t neutralize smell as well as I’d hoped for the cost. It does respond when cooking or even when using hair dryer. Strange! Overall it’s ok.

A must have with little kids and pets! Works excep

If you have a home with multiple dogs and kids, you absolutely need this Shark Air Purifier!! Especially during the winter months, where you are trapped inside for the majority of the season and sickness is running rampant every other week, this air purifier is a game changer! The price point is a little high, but it is such a good investment and the filter only needs to be changed once every six months if you happen to forget like I do the air purifier itself will tell you when it needs to be changed so there’s no guessing or keeping track. The instructions are clear and precise to understand how to get it up and running. Within a couple minutes of plugging it in whenever I was first gifted this air purifier. It gave the air in my home such a low level but after 10 or 15 minutes, it was back up at 100%. The nice thing about this air purifier is that it can purify the whole first level of my home so there’s only a need to purchase one and if I want to, I can always move it around the house, but the first level of my home is where we do the majority of playing with the kids and dogs as well as lounging around and cooking so it’s a more high traffic area. Since I do have kids, they love to press buttons and explore new gadgets in our home, which is another reason why I love this Shark Air Purifier because it has a child lock feature so our kids can’t mess around with it and I can ensure that it is always on. I received this air purifier last year as a Christmas gift and it definitely has come in handy for the winter months. I’ve really noticed a change from this year’s flu season to last and this is all due to our air purifier!

I’ve never had an air purifier before and didn’t understand why I would need one. I finally gave in and bought this Shark air purifier and I’m never going back. You don’t realize how much dust and impurities are around you even when you do deep cleanings regularly. I love the display screen that tells me about the filtration, the energy saving mode allows me to just plug it in and leave it to do its thing, and the sleek look doesn’t clash around my home. It’s assembled from the box, all you have to do is remove the plastic from the filter and plug it in. I notice my room is less dusty and feels fresher than other rooms where I don’t have it on. I think everyone looking for that should give it a try.

Definitely great for having animals it cleans the air and pulls in the dust and dander it’s not huge so it doesn’t take up a lot of room and isn’t loud.
