Kids love it but it breaks within days of purchase

I have purchased 5 of these each of which the characters stop moving and follows with extreme battery usage.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Short lived, Poor quality, Stopped working
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

power left on and corroded batteries

given to us as a gift for our unborn daughter, opened it up and power slide was on, opened battery hatch to find all batteries were corroded and have leaked through the unit

Super cute and Soothing!

After going back and forth between a few, I am glad we chose the Sea Dreams Soother Crib Toy for our little ones nursery. The soother attached easily and securely to his crib. My little one loves lying in his crib watching the lights. The melodies soothe him and the characters are absolutely adorable! All the lights, sounds, and motions are all very slow and relaxing and usually in no time he is fast asleep. It really does help our little one calm down and get to sleep. I like that this has different settings and how after ten minutes, the volume slowly fades away. The light function on the soother has been a lifesaver especially when I can’t find his binky! The remote is also very useful as I can just turn in back on from my room if needed. I have also attached this to the head rest in my car and used it on long drives to help keep him calm. I definitely recommend this product as bedtime will be a lot more enjoyable!

Potential fire hazard

Had similar issues to other reviewers. One day smoke started coming from it. Will not be getting a new one. When it was working, my little one absolutely loved it. But I will not take any chance on another one

Corroded Batteries

Got this as a gift. Opened batteries to find spring and battery were corroded. Returned it and got a new one. Opened batteries to find spring and battery were corroded.

Doesnt work

I bought one and my newborn loved it! Then, after a few weeks, the music wouldn't keep playing. It keeps turning off after a few seconds or repeating a sound that it isnt supposed to keep making... got a 2nd one. It wont even move and when I turn it to a certain switch it does the same as our first one! The light wont stay on either and it will start repeating this sound turning on and off... if it works properly, it is my baby's favorite toy and helps her sleep best! My friend received one for her newborn and she also has issues... Wish it would work right.

We bought this for our granddaughter & she loves it and uses it to go to sleep everyday. As soon as it was out of warranty, it started draining batteries, the barely last a week, prior to that they would last much longer. I am very disappointed in this quality issue. Now I have to look for another option.
