Beast of a handheld but do your research!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the original Steam Deck before upgrading to the OLED edition and then when the Legion Go released, I upgraded to it and promptly sold both Steam Decks.
While the screen isn’t an OLED, the increased size of it, color accuracy, brightness, and its options for differing resolutions meant that I ended up liking it a tad better even if it was just regular LED. The unit itself is much larger than the other handhelds and you can feel this chunk in your hands when you hold it, it has bit of weight to it and generally a very solid premium feeling. If you game in bed with your elbows up and holding your handheld above you, prepare to feel your arms go numb or to get a concussion when the device falls on you because it can be heavy lol.
My biggest warning to buyers: please do your research if you are a console player who expects to just be able to plug in play. This is a basically a Windows PC and it will need different tweaking depending on the games you want to get working. Imagine this: on a console, you can just pick the game and play even if it’s new! For the Legion Go, you might need to see if your game is running at the right resolution, if it needs FPS to be capped, different performance modes on the Legion Go, messing around with FSR and other graphic settings (luckily I modded Skyrim once in my life and have the experience from those sleepless nights on PC so transitioning from Linux (Steam Deck) to what is basically a portable Windows PC with removable controller was easy and actually preferred for me.
Ever since the Steam Deck came out, a lot of companies have been jumping on the bandwagon. As a consumer, do your research before you buy the next coolest thing because so the early tech, you could easily save your money and buy an upgraded and revised product at a cheaper price when these companies figure everything out. However this handheld easily plays certain games that my steam deck couldn’t run or struggled with and that greatly increased my happiness with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Lenovo Legion Go for a couple of weeks now, and I am beyond impressed. As a gamer who’s always on the go, this device is a dream come true. It combines the power of a gaming PC with the portability of a handheld console, and it absolutely delivers.
First off, the build quality is fantastic. It feels solid in hand without being too heavy, and the detachable controllers give it that Switch-like flexibility, but with way more power under the hood. The display is sharp and vibrant, making games look incredible, especially on a 144Hz screen. Even high-end games run smoothly with minimal lag, which is something I didn’t expect from a handheld.
Battery life is decent, considering the hardware it’s packing. With less demanding games or when turning down the settings, I can easily get a few solid hours of play. The cooling system is surprisingly effective too – it doesn’t get nearly as hot as I expected during long gaming sessions.
I also love the versatility. You can dock it and use it as a mini-PC for work or streaming, which is a nice touch. The performance is top-tier for the price, and I can’t emphasize enough how much I love the larger screen compared to other portable gaming devices.
Overall, the Lenovo Legion Go is a must-have for any serious gamer who wants to take their PC gaming anywhere. It’s powerful, versatile, and well worth the investment. Lenovo really knocked it out of the park with this one!
This review captures the enthusiasm of someone who enjoys the Legion Go’s balance of power and portability, with some practical notes on its build, performance, and versatility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing device plays all my favorite games, I got a steam deck OLED and the screen was too small It also didn't play the games that I wanted to play because of the Linux barrier. I got tired of getting frustrated with trying to get my games working or them working and them crashing as I'm playing them. The legion go plays all my favorite games and has a great Wi-Fi antenna. The antenna is especially good It helps me stay connected even when my phone doesn't have a connection a lot of times I'm still able to get connected to the Wi-Fi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Go is great, but only after reading all the tweaks on Reddit. There's no intro video on the device, no tips or anything, no automatic downloads of updates. You shouldn't have to go to the help section of a huge website to see if there's any updates for this device. Now after learning how to do that and getting into BIOS to change VRAM (somewhat intimidating to some), it's running great and very impressive device!
