[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the size and quality of the screen, big reason I wanted the legion go and it did not disappoint. As expected from not only myself but most of the community the software was very buggy and hard to use. However I am very pleased with the Lenovo team on actually listening to the community and continue to release updates that have greatly improved the experience. I can run all my favorite games with little issue and am very happy with my decision to buy the Legion Go
Nice device unfortunately I wouldn’t know how well the legion played games because it never played any games. Every time I tried to play a game it said the graphics drive was out of date, but when I update it it says it is up to date. So i finally just called Lenovo customer support. Turns out my device was MISSING key software and programs. After 3 hours of installing everything missing and letting the it guy take over the device he still can’t figure it out. It guy says he needs to reboot his system and will call back. An hour or so later I got an email saying they tried to call back and there was no answer, I received no calls, and to call back if I have anymore questions. I got GHOSTED by the it guy. I returned the device that night, which was at least a fairly easy process. The it guy called the next day asking if I had anymore questions. He didn’t answer my first question but I said nope sent it back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick breakdown:
1) the screen is gorgeous but it's a vertical screen set to horizontal so you're going to run into some problems with some games
2) the controls are ok. They'll be better when you can fully map them like other handhelds that are named after what happens when water gets really hot. Right now you have to install a 3rd party app to get that level of control
3) Windows is cool, but it makes this a handheld computer and less of a gaming system.
4) Legion Space is really bad right now. It's getting better but I disabled it and boot into the gaming platform that is what happens when water gets really hot.
5) the controllers have pretty bad ergonomics. They dig into the heels of my hands and reaching the triggers and bumpers is kind of a pain. The Hall Effect joysticks are nice but they're too soft for my liking. Face buttons are good. The Legion buttons are bad and start and select buttons are all awkward and we need a way to completely rebind them all.
6) the system is quite heavy
7) heat isn't too bad
8) performance is mostly good with a few games working weird. There's options to change TDP and fan and graphics and such so it's getting better.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wasn't a tinkerer or a Windows user right now. Maybe soon?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always buy Lenovo laptops and stand by their service and this is no exception the Legion Go exceeded my expectations in such a small form factor. I was in the market for a handheld gaming device like a steam deck or Rog Ally but the Legion go caught my eye with the huge screen and the extra usb c as well as the kick stand and I cant tell you how much a game changer the kick stand is not like the bootleg one you get with the ROG Ally this one is sturdy and well put. I recently updated the bios and graphic drivers to the latest one and boy the fps is way better. Im super pressed with the device since i have a ps5 xbox series x a 4090 pc so gaming wise im good but i wanted a small device that i can bring on a small buisness trip or vacation where all i need is a hdmi cable a wireless mouse and keyboard and BOOM you mini gaming pc is with you on vacation (the wife ir girlfriends will not appreciate that lol sorry ladies) but serious this is the way to go i commend Lenovo on their first well put outing in this and will def get the next legion go when that comes out in the future cause im a fan of Lenovo warrenties customer service and products. Cant say any more but buy it and pair it with a xbox elite 2 and your in a game changing situation when laying in bed at night or use it as a mini pc as well.
