[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great hardware, poor software. The software experience on ROG Ally is much mature and polished. I hope to see Lenovo step up its game.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting for a device to fit my hands and suit my needs and this is it. This is a wonderful device and recommend anyone looking for a handheld gaming PC. The software support is superb and the developers have roadmap for 2023 that owners love.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They hit it out of the park with this one... mostly. Thankfully the little annoyances can be either patched with the software, or 3rd party resolved with the grips and controllers. Likes: Beautiful screen (Y U no OLED?), large screen (cant stress how much better this is with the extra 1.8") detachable controllers, very fast, kickstand is awesome. Has a touchpad on the right. FPS mode with mouse is neat. Full thunderbolt eGPU support, dont need Asus' overpriced proprietary cards. Dual USB C. System works extremely well docked as a standalone computer. The MicroSD card slot actually works. uses 2243 NMVe, easier to get larger cards (just make sure they only have chips on ONE side.) Hall effect sticks Works GREAT to stream from moonlight at full 1600p @ 144 Hz.
Dislikes: legion space is hot garbage, slow, awkward, bloated, and lacking - just a promotional storefront in the way of the settings panel. We dont need another launcher, just a device-specific management program. Hopefully they polish it up. No VRR, display is portrait mode. Controllers have the buttons too close to the thumbsticks on the right side. The legion space button and settings button are right where the menu and back buttons should be, and those are in an awkward place on the left controller - accidentally launching legion space when you meant to pause suuuuuucks, FPS mode is a solution in search of a problem - really need to use a 3d-printed cover for the rest of the controller so it doesnt hurt. Edges of the controllers dig in to your palms.
Overall, this is the handheld to get in 90% of cases. Steam deck is too slow, ROG Ally is half baked. Go for this, it's more future proof. Once the 3rd party accessories start coming out, it will be even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Words cannot describe how amazing this device is! Sooo I had a Steam Deck and it was okay but it bothered me that I couldn’t play all my games. So I purchased the Lenovo Legion Go from Best Buy 1TB version and I have to say I’m blown away! I wish I could go back and time and give this to my younger self in 2005 to play World of Warcraft so amazing. To be able to play MW3 butter smooth is amazing! I love how I can adjust all the settings if I want to extend battery like such as the TDP and resolution quickly. If your on the fence or not I’d grab one as you can always return it….but you know what I guarantee it that you won’t!!! Happy gaming everyone XxMrSteelexX
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Legion Go is preferred by me because I love handheld Devices. No issues of overheating and not disabling your SD Card slot. I have a mini PC and a great gaming machine wrapped into one. I can play better games than the Nintendo switch in a handheld on the go. You will need to have a high watt output power bank if traveling, I carry a Anker 100watt output and 240W USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Braided Cable. The device is still receiving updates to make it better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best handheld computer in my opinion. Detachable controllers are a great feature. Large screen. With about a 2 hr battery life.
