It’s not that the juicer didn’t use the fruit and vegetables properly it did but the safety ledge is to hold everything together would pop open when it was under pressure so therefore it was extremely dangerous to be around the juicer when it was juicy. There were two latches on each side that did not stay latched while the juicer was grinding up the vegetables in fruit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this juicer once a week and it has been working perfectly for small batches of fresh juice. The compact size makes it easy to take with you on vacation or weekend getaways. Making smoothies was a breeze and I had no issues blending frozen fruits.

Outstanding juicer! I use it every 5 days (fill mason jars) and it has been going strong. I learned that cleaning/ scraping the blade assembly frequently during the juicing process on course veggies (like ginger root) works best to allow the cutter to do it's job. Also learned that a toothbrush works great with hot soapy water to clean thoroughly and to prevent sediment build up.
