That's really the only problem I have with it. I should've researched a little bit more, but honestly I'm so glad I bought this thing. I've made bacon, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, reheated leftovers, etc and everything's been great.

We’ve only had one air fryer before this. The Cuisinart is so much easier to clean sound the top and coils inside. The basket is easy to clean. I love having the light to view what’s cooking. It’s easy to use. Takes up minimal space. The price was right. We literally use it for everything.
