We chose the Cuisinart 5-cup Coffeemaker to replace a ten year old 4 cup coffeemaker that finally quit working. The coffeemaker makes very good coffee in a very short time. The charcoal water filter is easy to install. We like the option of the 30 minute warming feature after the coffee has brewed and we also like the automatic shutoff feature.
