Very happy overall . . . but the stainless steel in the carafe should be heavier gauge. Plus the way the plastic rim attaches to the carafe traps liquid such that it is hard to clean. Regardless, I am very pleased that it is stainless steel. I've broken way too many glass carafes over the years.

I bought this 5 cup coffee maker as everyone else in the house drinks decaf so they use a 12 cup Cuisinart. It works great and makes a wonderful cupoa joe!

This is my second Cuisinart small coffeemaker. My first one I had for 4+ years of everyday use. It did a good job. I am the only coffee drinker in our home. The size is right and does not take up too much counter space. New model is easier to fill with water. I only brew a pot once each morning.

This is the perfect coffee maker for a single cup (large) of coffee. The thing I most love about this coffee maker is the stainless steel carafe. I like a lot of people these days have granite countertops. Glass carafes do not like granite. So I went looking for a new coffee maker. It makes coffee fast and the perfect serving. It's sort of easy to clean and it's small, doesn't take up a lot of space on the countertop. My only caution is some of the plastic pieces are a little sharp around the inside of the carafe and on the top of the carafe lid.
