Nice size and easy to organize

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this freezer as a second freezer for extra food in the fall. The shelves are easy to organize. It would be nice if there was one shelf that did not have coils and was adjustable. The only drawback is leveling. The back rollers do not adjust, only the two front feet do.

Perfect size

Door Can't Open Without A Crowbar

Love the size. The amount of shelving/space is perfect. Keeps everything at the right temperature. Unfortunately the vapor seal on the door is SO strong, that it's VERY difficult to pull open. Almost impossible. And not just for my 87-year-old parents (the intended users), but also for their middle-aged "kids". Installers made sure it was level, so that is not the issue. The wobbly base of the freezer (purposely-designed that way, apparently) only makes it harder to open the door. Had a great consultation with a repair technician who said that this is a common problem with upright (vs. chest) freezers. He also said there is no true "repair" for this problem, but said it is okay to continue the work-around that we discovered: use your fingers to break the seal of the door's gasket while pulling the door with your other hand. Not really an option for those with arthritis or other age-related infirmities. Also, just not practical or safe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
