Manual problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The manual for this range leaves much to be desired. Having written product manuals before, this manual has many sections out of rational order. It does not follow the normal progressive steps of a manual. You have to go backward & forward to make sense of how to use the range. In addition, the "Setting the minute timer" on page 23 is wrong. It says to press the on-off timer button, press up or down to set the time, then press Start for it to start the countdown. This does not work. The only thing that happens after pressing Start is 3 rapid beeps. After ~10 seconds the display goes back to clock time. I tried this for several months. I finally was successful by NOT pressing Start, but by pressing the Timer clock symbol again. The time started counting down.

Left in the dark

The indoor light on mine never worked. So I bought a replacement bulb and installed it. Nope, still nothing. So I use the ole flashlight to see inside a new oven.

A bumpy start, but still a great stove

Still seems not quite right yet. Fingers crossed, because the stove top is amazing, and the looks are great. Price was very good as well

Glass top broke after 1 year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very happy initially with this product but for some unknown reason the glass top shattered exactly 1 year and 2 days after I received it and then was of course not covered under warranty. Would have been too costly to repair so I just purchased a new stove, but gas this time.

That’s such a tough situation, especially when it happens just outside the warranty period. It’s really disappointing when something breaks so suddenly, especially after you’ve had a positive experience with the product up until that point. A shattered glass top is not only frustrating, but also costly to repair, and I completely understand why you'd decide to just replace the stove altogether.

Absolutely love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a GE in August 2023 and hated it. My husband researched this Frigidaire model and purchased it. Our old GE wasn’t even 2 years old but we decided to just give it away and go with this stove and so thankful I did. It cooks great and the oven is self cleaning and it’s steam clean and much safer. Thanks for my new stove!
