For the cooktop heating concerns, please keep in mind that radiant electric elements may take longer to heat and may continue to retain heat after the control is lowered or turned off. This residual heat can make temperature adjustments feel less responsive. We recommend using flat-bottom cookware that closely matches the size of the cooking zone, allowing the cookware and element to preheat before adding food, and making smaller temperature adjustments rather than moving rapidly between settings.

For cleaning, allow the surface to cool completely before wiping away spills. For stubborn residue, use a cooktop-approved cleaner and a cooktop scraper designed specifically for glass-ceramic surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or rough utensils, as these can damage the surface.

If the elements are taking unusually long to heat, remaining at excessive heat regardless of the setting, or not responding properly to the controls, the appliance may require service. We recommend having the unit inspected by an authorized technician.
