You can feel where they invested in quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t really had enough time with this stove to fully evaluate its performance, but at the purchase stage, the difference in build quality was pretty obvious.
Compared to GE and Whirlpool, the Frigidaire felt significantly more solid and thoughtfully made. The tactile experience really stood out. On the GE in particular, the plastic control knobs felt flimsy, almost like they could bend or snap as you turned them through settings. The Whirlpool wasn’t much better. In contrast, the Frigidaire’s controls feel robust, with a more premium, cast-metal feel and smooth, positive action. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in everyday use.
Installation wasn’t entirely straightforward. The rear cable clearance is tight, so I needed to install a surface-mounted recessed receptacle to allow the unit to slide fully back. That added about $150 to the total cost, something worth factoring in if your current setup is floor-mounted.
This stove replaces a Samsung that had ongoing issues with the control board and display, so reliability is a big consideration for me. It’s too early to judge on that front, but first impressions are strong, especially in terms of build quality and usability.
Overall, while I can’t yet speak to performance over time, the physical quality alone sets this apart from much of the competition.

Very nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the range for about 2 weeks and have used all of the features on it. They all work just fine. I read other reviews prior to our purchase and I must say that some of the negative reviews mentioned items that we found not to be true. I will go through a couple: The range sits very close to the back wall, not far away. The broiler element does not run while baking. The instructions are very clear on how to operate the dual burner. Now, for some of my thoughts. I like that the controls for the burners are in the front. I love that the bottom heating element is not exposed. It really makes cleaning the oven so much easier. I like the steam clean, but it is only strong enough for very minor spills. A very minor complaint would be that the light does not come on when the door is opened -- you have to turn it on manually.

Perfect range for me
