Blower & Pro-Batteries extremely disappointing!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive my new Leaf-Jet blower w/Pro batteries. Received the package fairly quick, immediately charged up the batteries, until they were fully charged, waited until the batteries were cool and then started working in my yard.
Initially, I was impressed with the weight distribution, but then I started blowing leaves. Immediately noticed there was not near as much leaf blowing power as advertised. Tried all the settings. I don’t think that setting 1 would even mess up your hair, setting 2 was a little faster, as you’d expect, and setting 3 blew some leaves around. Tried the turbo for 5 seconds and that did increase the leaf blowing ability, but I didn’t continue using the turbo function, because I wanted a good idea of how long the batteries would last. I had okay (not decent) power for 8 minutes and the batteries were completely drained in less than 10 minutes.
Figured this was because it was the batteries initial charging, so I re-charged the batteries and tried again the next day. Did not use the turbo function at all, but again the batteries were completely drained in less than 10 minutes.
The leaves were mostly dry, but the Leaf-Jet underperformed terribly.
I contacted Worx and the representative said that the Leaf-Jets typically only last about 7-8 minutes.
Are you kidding me? No where in all of the Worx literature do they say this. I wasted NO time in returning the Leaf-Jet. This is a prime example of overpromising and way under delivering.

I have numerous WORX products and always liked them except this one. I have an extreme problem with the battery run time. I can get maybe 20 min on the low speed but that defeats the purpose of getting it. On high speed I get 10 min or less. I cannot get much done with that. I am going to a different product. Problem is I cannot in all honesty sell this to someone else. I will keep the batteries and charger as I can use those on my other products and just throw the blower away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit works well but the battery run time is very short, about 20 to 30 minutes, and to buy additional batteries is very expensive, if you can afford additional batteries its a useful tool.

Lotsa power but......

Great blower but only 20 minutes run time on speed 3 after 2 hrs to full charge! Get the 20 volt for same or longer run time after 1 hr charge. You loose a speed on 20 volt, but it's not that much difference!

I bought this blower thinking I could do the whole of my property in one go, but I was mistaken. The charge on both the batteries do NOT last more than 20 mins.

Nitro 40V Power Share Pro Leafjet Cordless Blower

I am not sure how I feel about the performance yet. I like the design, but I completely charged the blower and used it for the first time on level 3 and it only lasted for 18 minutes. I expected at least 30 minutes like I had read about in the information. There were not many leaves in my yard, so I will have to wait and see how it does when winter is over. I expected more run time and I am not sure if the speed is over 100 mph like listed.

The WG585 comes with 4.0ah PRO, though you typically won't run it continuously...But Level 1 = 30-40 minutes; Level 2 = 20-30 minutes; Level 3 = 15-20 minutes. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks and switching between levels.
