Perfect For a Typical Florida Homeowner

Years ago I owned and operated a Lawn Service and Landscaping company. I have used every kind of gas powered blower you can imagine. Everything from back packs and hand held to wheeled walk behinds.
As a homeowner no longer in the business, my lawn care equipment, the blower in particular, does not get used all day every day and does not do well without constant use.
I had nothing but trouble with 2 cycle gas blowers carburetor issues... etc.. and these were good quality units I would run on my crews back in the day. For years I would tear them down and clean them up. Usually at the worst possible time right after mowing and having a big mess to clean up.
Talk about aggravating!
First I purchased the Cordless WORX Jaw Saw for a tree project and was so impressed with it's performance I decided why not give this blower a try.
I am glad I did.
Here are some of the features I love about it the most.
#1. It is compact and does not take up much room.
#2. It is light weight and portable.
#3. I is powerful.
#4. it came with a 4 AMP battery and a quick charger which I use with my other WORK Tools as well. I can also swap out the 2 AMP battery if this one is discharged and finish up the work. The battery time on this is more than sufficient to do several clean up jobs before recharging.
#5. It is much quieter than a gas blower and will not intrude on the neighbors peace and quiet.
#6. It has two settings of output operated by a rolling switch with two settings for more or less powerful blowing.
#7 You can pull or push the outer sleeve Jet Tube to change the focus of the wind being generated to a wider dispersal or a more powerful concentrated focus.
#8 The handle is very ergonomic and well built due to the motor being in the head of the unit the blower does not twist the users wrist. This is a big deal for people with wrist or grip issues even my 74 year old mother with Arthritis in her wrists and a weak grip can use this comfortably.
All in all it is a great blower and because it is so convenient to use I find myself using it more often to keep the Garage, Porch, Walkway and Driveway clean which = less sand and dirt getting tracked into the house.
Here are some pictures I chose to take the pictures in the garage using my tool box to show the size of the blower I also have the 2 amp battery installed from my Jaw Saw as I was charging the 4 AMP battery the blower comes with.
As a matter of fact the 4.0 AMP Battery and quick charger made this purchase a no brainer as many of my WORX tools came with the 2 AMP Battery and slow chargers, I recently purchased the WORK Circular saw "too only" and saved money due to having 2 batteries already. What a smart company!
In the pictures you can see what the blower looks like with the air nozzle extended for more pinpoint power and pulled back for a wider area of dispersion.
The Thumb Switch which controls the two output settings for blowing is orange and on top of the handle it can be seen in the second picture and is easy to turn on off and select medium and high power with a roll of your thumb.
Bottom lining it for the homeowner this is a must have tool instant on, clean and done period. If you are looking for an alternative to gas blowers look no further, WORX makes bigger more powerful units for larger properties but for the average homeowner or renter this should get the job done quite nicely.
Any way these are the things I think people considering this need to know, it is well worth the purchase price and a welcome addition to the home. Hope this helps.

For years I have had the older style battery blower from Worx. Wanted a second one and tried this new style. Much more powerful and just as lightweight.
