I'm a 67 year old petite lady who has to do a lot of yard work. My old weed eater & blower were heavy & difficult to use. The old batteries took 8 hours to charge & would only hold a full charge for about 10 minutes. I love my cordless WORX weed eater & blower. Batteries recharge in about 2 hours & hold the full charge for at least 30 minutes.
I bought this for MY Christmas present this past December. My husband and sons laughed at me when the box came in. They kept saying what a waste of money that there was no way the battery powered thing was going to work. HA! I showed them. I love this little blower. I can get out and use it, well everywhere. I haven't found anything that it won't blow. I have horrible knees and just walking and standing is difficult. This blower weighs almost nothing and I am excited that I can use it. My 5 year old grandson LOVES this blower. And he has no problem with it. My youngest son had been laughing pretty loud about it, but I was laughing at him a couple weeks ago when he came over to borrow it and the gutter assessory kit to use at his house. Now he wants one.
I am very happy to have it. It is lightweight and easy to handle ( no cords ). The charge lasts a long time. I had some trouble getting old leaves from fall out of an area with vines for ground cover, but overall it works very well.
I purchased the blower about a month ago. I am a 62 year old active gardener and have found this blower to be one of the best tools I own! It makes cleanup such an easy task; and the light weight of it makes it so easy to use. I also used it to clean off my deck. leaves and. Debris was easily removed. Webs and dust was also easily removed.
I bought this a few weeks ago am not as happy as I thought I would be. I cannot blow the water off my car before the battery dies. I was going to buy an extra battery, but the cost is almost as much as buying another WORX AIR.
The maximum amount of run time for this blower is approximately 20 -25 minutes and the battery is depleted and needs recharging. We had to purchase 8 batteries just to handle the weekly task of cleaning up the patio and yard areas and they are small areas. It takes about 2 hours to clean our entire property and we live in a typical tract home with a 6000 sq ft lot...most of which is consumed with the house footprint. We like the convenience of the unit but do not be oversold on it's performance capability.
