Bought this for my 87 year old Mother who still does all of her own housework and was sweeping her front porch 3 times a day in the summer. Now she keeps the WORX AIR in her front closet and blows the porch clean in a fraction of the time and effort it took to sweep. She can also reach places she couldn't before, which makes her very happy. She keeps finding new places to use it.
I bought two handheld blowers, one as a gift. They did not have enough power to blow anything and the battery lasted a very short time. I have returned them. I just wanted a cordless lightweight blower. Disappointed.
I bought this a little over a month ago and at the time thought it would be just another gimmicky tool to hang in the garage unused. Was I ever wrong!!! I basically purchased it figuring that the weight would be something I could handle with auto accident injuries I live with but I was prepared for something so light weight to not hold up. Again, was I ever wrong!!!! I hung this up and it's been off the hook more being used than it has been hanging there idle. Well, almost! After using the miter saw on the driveway, I blew away the dust with Worx rather than getting a vacuum. Fall has started and every day I can blow away the last batch of leaves on the ground instead of dreading the large raking jobs. Cleaning the garage is the biggest impression the Worx has made. I can blow up all debris and bugs from the tight places that I could NEVER reach with a vacuum or broom. We also like the water squeegee attachment for blowing off water when washing the cars and windows. We live in an area with hard water that always leaves spots. By blowing it off - no more spots or streaks from the so called magic microfiber towels. HINT! Buy a second battery so there always one charged and it is true that the battery may not hold a charge for very long on the FIRST charge and use but after that, it's held a charge for day after day after day of use. How did I ever live without this?
I love using my new WORX 20V blower. I dreaded blowing off the sidewalk and decck beccause I had to pull out the extension cord, move it around and put it away. I choose the 20V model because I already own a 20V jawsaw and the rechargeable batteries are interchangable. The blower does not have as much power as my corded blower, but I use it so much more becase it is so easy and lightweight and still has enough power to do all I have needed it to do.
I BOUGHT THIS BLOWER 3 WEEKS AGO. MY WIFE WAS NOT SURE WE NEED IT SINCE WE HAVE A LARGE GAS BLOWER. THIS BLOWER WORKS AS WELL AS MY LARGE BLOWER AND THE WEIGHT IS SO LIGHT I CAN'T GET IT AWAY FROM MY WIFE. THANKS,BOB
