Well like a lot of yard workers out there, I was just waiting to get my rotary head drill paid for and I knew that the cordless leaf blower was next on my list. Whenever I got ready to use my electric one, I would have to get out 150' of extension cord to to do what I had to do. Not now, this leaf blower does the job without the darn cords now !! I wish the battery held out a bit longer, but I have an extra 20v battery from my drill that I have ready to go when my battery runs down. If they is a next time, I may get one of more powerful battery size battery leaf blower, but all is good for now. thank you al at Worx for keeping us oldies working less.
This machine is so much easier than using a broom. I also have the string edger and the batteries are interchangeable so when I'm using one I can just pop the same battery in and away I go. I also have the battery powered lawn mower and it also is light weight so I can do all my yard work myself. When I get old (I'm 84 now) I suppose I will have to have help but for now Worx keeps me going.
The blower works great for everything but batter only last 15 minutes of time so you must be able to do all you are going to do within that time period because it dies. I had to but and extra battery to get more use out of it, but other than that the product works great and I would recommend it to anyone.
I bought three tools. The edger/trimmer, the hedge trimmer, and this blower. It's my favorite of the three. Very powerful and super lightweight. Get an extra battery when you buy this.
This unit is good for a quick blow down of walkways etc but doesn't get things like pine needles very well. My biggest concern was the amount of time it takes to charge the battery and the amount of time of use. Use time is not enough for bigger jobs. Had I known the use time I would have bought a bigger unit
