Does it get hot enough to dry?

Maybe we're doing something wrong, but the gas dryer never seems to get hot enough to dry a load. Takes two hours or more to dry a load. With a busy family life, we can't spare that much time!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dryer works and looks great. Would give 5 stars, but the lint trap is already building up. Just seems like a poor design.
