Unfortunately, the first cycle right out of the box was problematic. A consistent loud sound continued until the end of the cycle. Already had to have a repairman come out. He said a couple of the rollers are bad and need to be replaced. Have to wait 10 more days. UGH!! Very frustrating when trying to get settled into a new house and can't count on my appliances to get the job done. I hope when it's fixed I can come back with a better review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best appliance I have had

This electric dryier is better than any other I have ever own. The time for drying is incredibly low (works with gas) and the GE app on my phone notifies me when my cloth are in the dryer so I remember to take them out. It has multiple modes to dry your cloth. I couldn't be happy with this product. The relationship price/quality is the best one. I recommend you also to get the pedestals

I absolutely love this dryer and especially the fact I know when my clothes are dry is so nice for my mom who has trouble walking. We purchased the washer 2 years ago and I couldn’t wait I til my dryer broke so I’d have a reason to buy the matching dryer.

Dryer replaced same model that was a lemon.

We bought the lemon in 2020 and it took 8 months to get it in 2021. But it never worked properly. GE replaced it last week and it is SO much better - even the noise if different. Most important, it gets hot and dries. Thanks GE, you finally got it.

Worked great until it didn’t

We got the washer and dryer set of these 2 1/2 months ago. We really like both the washer and dryer. The just 2 days ago the Dryer control panel would not light up. We tested the power at the wall and to the dryer both checked out. Control panel just died, no life. Service is coming in 2 days hopefully we’ll get this sorted out and be back in action. My old washer and dryer went for 11 years. The old Kenmore dryer was still working when we upgraded. Frustrating…sometimes the analog push button appliances are more reliable in their simplicity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
