No water

I bought this a couple of days ago. No water will come out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sometimes the Hydroshot will not prime water because there is an air pocket that forms inside the water pump after long time without use, or right out of the box. In order to remove this pocket so that it may self prime water from a portable water source, you must hook it directly to a garden hose and run it with a fully charged battery for about 20 seconds. In order to connect a garden hose, you must unscrew the orange male connector from the bottom of the tool and then a garden hose will adapt right to the bottom. This should fix your issue. Very disappointed in the battery life

I bought the 40V Hydroshot so I could clean our cars and motorcycles with clean water and avoid water spots. I bought all of the car washing accessories along with it. The batteries have been on the charger for two weeks so I should be good, right? I just went out to wash my wife’s car and I am back inside after only being outside for 45 minutes. The batteries are dead and the car is still dirty. What a joke! Why sell all the car cleaning products if you don’t have time to use them? I did not know I would have to buy a battery 10 pack in order to wash one car.
The Hydroshot itself will great for a clean water rinse when you are done washing your car, I just wish I didn’t waist money on all the extras.
I will add the Hydroshot to my car washing kit, but will not be replacing it with it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having owned one of the earlier models for many years, I purchased this latter model our son in law. He used it for the first time last weekend to do the house windows, both cars, the back deck AND to water some plants on the backside of the house where there is no water access. It has become his go to tool in less than a week!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used this on three applications. Concrete Cleaning, Deck Cleaning and Boat cleaning.
I found that I can run 4 5 Gallon buckets of water through it if I run about 1 bucket on ECON setting that works well and then use the full power when needed. Its not a gasoline powered unit but the ability to just get a 5 gallon bucket and and walk around makes this a great portable tool. I know some people have bad reviews but my personal experience has been quite good.

A GREAT WELL BUILT TOOL

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A WORX HYDROSHOT MAX POWER WASHER BECAUSE OF HOW IMPRESSED AND SATISFIED I WAS WITH MY RECENTLY PURCHASED WORX LEAF BLOWER. I NOW HAVE TWO EXCELLENT TOOLS. THE POWER WASHER WAS PURCHASED MAINLY TO CLEAN A RECENTLY INSTALLED WHITE SWIMMING POOL DECK. THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THE POOL DECK WAS BIRD DROPPINGS THAT WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. THE HYDROSCOT POWER WASHER BLASTS THEM AWAY IN SECONDS. IN FACT I HAVE NOT FOUND ANYTHING THE POWER WASHER WILL NOT CLEAN. I HAVE CLEANED CONCRETE, OUTDOOR FURNITURE AND CARS. I WISH THIS TOOL WAS AVAILABLE YEARS AGO. I HAD A GASOLINE POWER WASHER BUT IT WAS HEAVY AND SO DIFFICULT TO USE THAT I HAD NOT USED IT IN OVER 10 YEARS. I SEEM TO FIND A USE FOR MY NEW HYDROSHOT POWER WASHER EVERY WEEKEND. IT IS SO WELL BALANCED AND SO LIGHT WEIGHT THAT IT IS A JOY TO USE. I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN CLEAN THE POOL DECK WITH WATER DIRECTLY FROM THE POOL. IN OTHER PLACES, I DRAW WATER FROM A BUCKET AND THAT TOO IS VERY EASY. I SHOWED THE POWER WASHER TO THE POOL SERVICE MAN AND HE IS GOING TO BUY ONE TO USE IN HIS POOL CLEANING BUSINESS. I BOUGHT A LOT OF ACCESSORY TOOLS TOO. I HAVE NOT YET USED ALL OF THEM BUT THE ONES I HAVE USED WERE VERY GOOD. I RECOMMEND THE 12 INCH SURFACE CLEANER ATTACHMENT IF YOU HAVE A POOL DECK.

Received my Hydroshot pressure washer three weeks ago wow just love this tool made washing my car a breeze this tool will pay for itself with all the money i will save from going to the car wash just love it.
