Just picked up a 6amp electric trimmer and impressed with everything except the length.
Followed instructions unscrewed the black connector extended it all the way still only about 4’ long?!?
Am I missing something as I’m 6’ and cannot get an angle that doesn’t remove the grass right down to the dirt having to bend over so far.
Ideas? Thanks for any help you can give!

Greetings from WORX! We appreciated your honest feedback as it helps us to further assist! Unfortunately there will not be a way to extend the rod of the 6 amp trimmer any longer. To further assist we do have a battery operated trimmer that will extend a foot longer than your current trimmer is able too.Here will be the link via www.WORX.com as well .

Good Trimmer, but don't be fooled by their add

I brought this product with the advertisement of free spool for life, but it does not come with this product. Make sure you read their fine print, before you buy something from them. You might want to go to a local store and look at it first. This way you know more about what you want, and you can always read reviews on the web while in the store.

This Trimmer Works Great - Larger Than Expected

I have used a battery powered WORX trimmer for over 10 years and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, it was on its last leg, so I bought this electric model as a replacement. My yard is small enough and I was tired of switching out batteries, but I didn't realize the electric model was so much larger. My oversight, but the trimmer works great. A 12" electric trimmer would have been my preference.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Telescoping Handle

I received this trimmer as a gift about 5 years ago. Performance wise I have no complaints, however, the telescoping handle does not telescope enough. It's made for short people. At 6' 2" (my height) by the time I finish trimming my average size yard my back is sore from bending over. It needs to telescope at least another 3" or 5" for us tall folks.
I would recommend this to a friend!
