Great idea but the product could be better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea and we got ours on clearance. My only issues are the mesh part slipping off of the trash can. Would be better off with a ratcheting type pull string. The tube is a little too stiff causing it to twist and pull the can over. And the mesh ripped at the tube so no patching possible. Granted its been 2 years. I plan to take the tube and attach it to a trash can lid and add an exhaust hole with mesh/screen over it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works as advertised, but I think the cloth part should be made of a stiffer material that goes on the garbage can more easily for quicker on/off. This would help the intake tube to stay in a straight orientation to the can instead of falling over and pointing sideways.

I bought this with the leaf mulcher. I have a lot of oak leaves and pine straw ( long leaf needles), as well as acorns. The large diameter tubing never clogged, but sent the ground up vegetation to the can consistently, until full. Securing the skirt to the trash can requires persistence. It must be tightened after pulling as far down around the can as possible to keep it from pulling loose. Then the area outside of the can lip will fill with debris like a soggy baby diaper. You can’t stay clean when emptying it. I don’t see any alternative and I think that this is the best solution next to having someone else rake your yard.

A small purchase that makes a big difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one. I wore out the first one I purchased many years ago. It makes collecting leaves so easy. You can blow them in a pile and this allows you to mulch them right into a bag loaded in a trash can. It helps significantly cut the workload of leaf clean up.
