I bought this the end of leaf season last year, so this was my first time to really get to use it. Bad decision if you live in a rural area where you deal with leaves falling on loose dirt and not asphalt or concrete. Sucks up too much dirt with leaves. I have a lot of small limbs and twigs that fall with the leaves (three large oaks in front yard) Trash can falls over a lot with collection system attached. dirt and dust flies out even when securely fastened. If I had used it more last season, I would have returned it. Not worth the money. I gave up and got my old trashcan out and hauled them off to burn. great idea, but just doesn't work easily and fast. I am 59 and female looking for a faster easier way to get rid of all my leaves. I left a review when I first bought this, under photokat. Now that I have really used it, I want to update the review. but the system won't let me.
I started to use the Leaf Pro the little is good for very small jobs but for yard work and a lot of leaves you need the universal collection system for all your big jobs. The one yard I worked on it took me about six and a half hours last year this year I finished the entire yard in less than Three hours . It is also a back saver . Last year my back was killing me, This year I could have worked for another 2-3 hours longer. I fell it was a good investment.
I've used this on my yard leaves during the past 5 weeks. I bought a 56-gal plastic trash container and the cover fits nicely, though at times I throw the tube over my shoulder to manage it while attaching to the trash container. When the container is nearing full, I hold the tube at the cover to help distribute the mulched leaves--otherwise clogs are common. Finally, the zip tie at the orange connector came loose once. I managed to put it back on, and since then I regularly check it to secure the tubing up under the zip tie.
I ordered this and it came quickly - just in time to start cleaning up the fall leaves! I've used it on two different trash cans, one round and one square, and it works well. The only problem is getting it tight enough to stay on the can. This is not a design flaw on the part of Worx, but the square can had wheels, which made it easier to haul after it was full, but also made it prone to fall over while I was filling it. If I turned the can around so the wheels were away from where I was working, it worked much better. Hopefully knowing that will make your life easier!
Our leave vacuum was not one of the brands with a specific adapter, but the univeral adapter worked very well - I love this product!
There needs to be someway to disconnet the hose from the top of the trash can. When you are trying to put the top on the trash can, the hose keeps pulling it back off. Unrelated: why send me a contest that is already over?
