I bought a Worx portable mulcher and saw this advertised and thought I'd give it a try because the bag that came with it was a bit clumsy and needed repeated emptying. The brochure suggested leaving the zipper unzipped if you just wanted to let the mulched leaves to just drop on the grass. Tried that and decided breathing the mulched leaves that were flying around was decidedly unpleasant. The photo showed this mulch catcher hooked up with a wheeled garbage can and I thought I would try it first on my big garbage can without wheels to see if it would work. Well it worked well enough w/o wheels because it was easy to just move it up a few feet at a time. Anyway I was amazed how much mulched leaves it would hold. What cost it a star was the double string gizmo you use to tighten it keeps coming loose and requires recinching pretty often. I'm going to look for some kind of clamp to keep it from happening. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating. Very happy with it.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT 3 WEEKS AGO AND I LOVED IT I PLACED IT ON THE TRASH CAN THAT THE CITY PROVIDES FOR YOU. BLEW ALL MY LEAVES AND DEBRIE IN A PILE AND LET THE WORK MACHINE DO THE REST . I HAD PURCHASED THE BLOWER/VAC SOME YEARS AGO WITH THE BAG . THIS COLLECTION SYSTEM IS PERFECT ,WHEN I CUT THE MACHINE OFF I WAS THROUGH WITH MY YARD WORK. I used it for the 1st time. I had make a barrier around my fig tree to protect it from freezing and used it to uncover all the leaves. I filled 2 39 gallon bags and was so glad I did not have to pull all the leaves out by hand and the rake them up. I used the blower part to get in the areas I could not vacuum and then vacuumed from there. Nice clean area now.

I bout this leaf collection to go with my Trivac it saved me a lot of time and energy. Everything was done instantly the machine vacuumed my leaves up putting it right in the trash can. The hose was long enough to get around my yard which was a plus.

I received a new Trivac machine from my kids as a Christmas present and immediately ordered a Universal Leaf Collection System. It was delivered within one week of ordering it! I attached one end to the Trivac and the other end to a 45 gallon rolling plastic trash can and proceeded to suck up the remaining leaves around my property which were left over since the fall cleanup. Even though the leaves had been previously covered with snow and were still wet, the Trivac had no problem picking them up, mulching them and blowing them into the container. It had no problem chopping them up with occasional small branches and sticks that had accumulated from previous wind storms. I was very impressed with the ease of collection, the reduction in volume during mulching and the resulting fine mulch that I plan to spread around my foundation plants. I am very impressed with the quality of the product(s) and the ease of use.
