I have 3 gas, 1 electric chain saws and for most of the small cutting I do the Jawsaw makes the job 100% easier and safer. I wish they would make a larger model.

I put a Jawsaw on my xmas list two yrs ago and my wife got it for me. Now shes so happy. She says I've got more use and yes enjoyment and work savings out of this gift than anything else she's ever given me.But even this saw gets dull eventually. kit should include a file of the correct diamater. Ihave recomended the Jawsaw to many and even reluctantly let them use mine for a few minuts

Jaws damage trees- Arborist Point of View.

this seems like a great product until you realize that the points on the jaws damage the remaining branch on the tree. In addition the thickness of the jaw makes it difficult to cut next to the branch collar. The branch collar has hormones that allow it to heal itself. A stub above the branch collar will not heal, allowing insects or disease to enter the tree. Can Worx make a thin smooth jaw?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. The Jaws themselves are designed to hold the branch with the teeth for cutting, however, I will escalate your feedback. I haven't heard of this being an issue before, but again thank you for taking time to inform us.

When purchasing a specialty tool like the jaw saw ,I looked at several brand options and decided that this was not only a quality tool as most worx products are,but also affordable in price. But what is really the best part is that this tool works better than I thought and really is fun to use.

Bought the Jawsaw last year and have used it many times. Without an exposed blade it is much safer to use. My favorite feature is once tthe limb is on the ground the Jawsaw will actually pick the limb up into the jaw and cut it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
