I am a LandLord and have several house, "with trees," that need to be maintained. This is the second one I purchased. The first one worked so good, my handy man decided that he should own it, and he did not get away with the extension bar. Personally, I think this is the, "neatest," idea I have run across for a long time. We no longer have to go on a roof to trim the limbs. The saw grabs the limb, from the ground, then easily cuts the limb and we can hold the limb to the ground without damaging anything. When we have the limbs on the ground we no longer need to put the limbs on horses or block the limbs from the ground. The saw grabs the limb and cuts it off and we can drag the remainder to a vacant area and make the next cut. The saw is the neatest, and safest saw I ever had. Truly a genius invention. I also sent one, with the extension, to my Son, James, in Ohio. Respectfully Robert Waring
I've only had this item a short period of time. I bought it to cut limbs into smaller sections prior to putting them in my wood chipper/shredder. Prior to purchasing the JawSaw I was using a standard chainsaw. This was dangerous when cutting the smaller fallen limbs since they had the tendency to bounce around. The JawSaw, however, grabs the limb and holds it in place while it is cutting. Great idea

I bought about a year, ago. Best investment I ever made. Easy and very safe to use. Great for an old lady who still does her own yard work.

So Convenient

I tried this saw at my sister's house and could not believe how easy it was to use. Although I am in my 50s, I was able to raise this above my head and cut branches!! I bought the electric version, but if you have a large yard, you might want the battery operated one for convenience. i could not believe how easy and quick I could cut through branches. Cutting larger branches down to workable size was easy to do. I wasn't worried about safety at all. A chain saw has its place, but this works for branches. The only part that I wish was different was how much of the branch was left. It leaves about 2 inches of branch next to the trunk, and I would have liked to have the cut flush to the trunk.

I purchased one of these 3 or 4 years ago and it still works just as good today as the first day that I used it. Any branch that you can get in it's jaws it will cut with ease and pretty darn quick. I feel like it is one of the safest power tools that I own and I own a bunch. If you want a chainsaw like feel but with a huge safety factor built in, this is your tool.
