I bought this 3weeks ago and as a 74 yr old woman found it very easy to get ready for the first use. It is not to heavy for me to manage and it is easy to use. I have a regular 18 inch bar chain saw and kids made me promise not to use it as it tends to buck sometimes. Had no problem with this one at all wish I had bought it when it first came out.
Saw cuts well and is easy to handle but is a little heavy for overhead work with the extension.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this JawSaw a few days now and I've just gotten the chance to use it....it is great! So easy to use....In a matter of minutes I trimmed the lowest limbs of my magnolia tree....something that needed to be done a long time but I did not have what I needed to complete the project!!!

Imagine a 15lb weight on a 8' pole and you have a handle to squeeze to keep it powered and to use the other hand to pull the grip to move the cutter. Now place all of this above your head and keep it all balanced.
I tried this addon. I brought it back to the store.
The Jaw Saw itself, however, is AWSOME. One thing they don't seem to mention is that if the chain starts to jump the track easily, replace the worn out chain.
My comments below pertain only to the use of the extension.
I am a 66 year old petite woman who needed to have 4 to 5 inch diameter trees removed from my property line to have a fence installed. Being on a fixed income, I did not have the extra money to hire someone to do the job. Instead, I purchased this Jaw Saw, after seeing the infomercial. I was able to drop these 25 foot trees by myself and cut them up and drag them away. This is a great item! Safe, powerful and sturdy. Easy maintenance as well. I was able to change the chain myself, after many cuttings and I have a new, sharp chain in case I need it! I will have the other sharpened for a spare. I just didn't want to put this thing down! Love it! I also have many other Worx Tools....blower, edger, hedge trimmer, etc. Saves a lot of money on yard maintenance for me. Thank you for products made with great quality.

I bought the battery version and could not be more pleased. This product is well made and easy to use. I have an old apple tree in my backyard that needs to go, and using a handsaw was slow and painful (literally). Purchased this at Lowe's and zipped through several branches in less than 5 minutes, and that's right out of the box. This, like my other Worx tools (this is my 4th), takes the work out of yard work; it's actually fun! What a smart & innovative tool company. Every Worx tool I've used is engineered with the consumer in mind. And then they go and make the tools affordable. I'm a loyal consumer of Worx products and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
