the chain keeps coming off.

When I first bought this it was awesome!! But after a very short time I started having trouble with the chain coming off. I would take it apart, fix it, tighten the chain and cut again and after one or two cuts the chain would come off again. Sigh. Wonderful product if they can fix the chain problem as I loved it before the chain problem. Please fix this issue

When replacing the chain, please make sure that the bar is pulled forward, if the bar slides back while tightening the chain in may not tighten in the proper way. This saw worked me to death. Every time I made a cut the chain would jump off. I tried every thing to keep the chain on. The saw is heaver than a gas chain saw.

When using the WG307 Jawsaw, please make sure that the chain is installed properly and the blade going in the right direction, as described in the user manual. If your chain is still coming off, contact customer service at 1-866-354-9679, so that we may troubleshoot with you.

A light weight & safe tool

My wife bought the Jaw Saw because of all the tree limbs that needed to be cut up after removing myrtle tree trunks and with my walking disabilities, she didn't want me using a regular chainsaw. Once she saw how easy it was to operate, my work was done. Now our son wants to barrow it with the extension to trim his tree branches.

It works great. Only thing is it doesn't have a 3 prong ground plug, which would be safer for outdoor use. Which may of been acceptable in 1951, but we know better now. Other than that It works fine out of the box.

I got this saw about a month ago ,and its the best thing ever !!! we are clearing land next to the Hoosier national forest and believe me when I say it is grown up and thick with shrubs and green briers I half work my self to dropping , it is so much fun that I forget time and just keep on working. and my husband has taken it away and went to work in the tree tops he really likes it and he was very skeptical about this electric chain saws he uses the big saws but he was very surprised at the strength and power the jaw saw has ,,my only regret was I didn't see the battery saw and I got the electric jaw saw so I am limited at how far I can go with it , I really wish I had seen the battery one because that's the one I really need, but get tools from work!!!!!!!
