[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first used it the chain came loose, not off, that is when I realized reading the start up instructions is a must. The chain came loose because what I didn't do and not because of the saw.
Once I did what it said the saw helped me wonderfully.

I love my jaw saw!

I love my jaw saw! Finally, I can do some yard work without worrying about cutting my leg off! This thing works great! I have taken down limbs and bushes with ease and I can do it all by myself! It’s easy to use! It’s not too heavy. I’d almost say it helps to make yard work fun! I wish I had bought it sooner!

My Jaw Saw experience with this product:

I bought this Jaw Saw 5 or 6 years ago. I really have but it threw the mill over the years on my 1 1/4 acres lot with lots of trees. It worked flawlessly up until a year ago when the electric wires in the handle tore apart. I tore it apart to see that the hard plastic tube that protects the wires while the handle is moving up and down was wearing out the wire as it passed through the small hole in the handle casing that keeps the plastic protection tube from moving while in use. The problem was the end of the protective tube eventually wore through the wire casing and eventually wore though the wiring itself. To correct the issue, I took the handle casing hole, that is created when the two handle pieces are put together again and made the hole bigger so that the protective tubing could move with the wire as well when in use moving up and down. I soldiered the wire together again and rapped it with electrical tape and slid the protective tube back over it again. Now the protective tube and the wires can move freely back and forth in the handle. Then reinstalled it all back together again and it's been working just like new again. Only issue I ever had with it for over 5-6 years. If I would not have been able to fix it, I certainly would have bought another one. Maybe your engineers can check this fix out and have even a better product that will last even longer.

extension pole failed

I'm disappointed in the extension pole. It bent and has to be replaced. Any idea where I can get a new one?

As a small framed, petite 60+ year old, it has been wonderful to cut my small trees up that are down for firewood. I cut 5 large stacks! I am a klutz, but have found it very safe. Suggestions: find a way to attach the tool to the jaw saw so that it cannot be misplaced. Second: make a larger size for the larger logs!
