Broken in the first week.

Blade kept coming off. It happened so often, I haven't used it for years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

safest chain saw ever made (my opinion)

Very pleased so far. easy to work with. Used to work with large chain saws. Now that I'm older I find it great to have a safer tool to use. I have also added the extension pole to my jawsaw. Really keeps me grounded. (Pun intended.)

Ease of Use for Novice

I wanted a safe tool for disposal of a lot of down tree limbs after a major wind storm. I have minimal experience with a chain saw and the Jaws looked like it would meet my need without being more than what the task required. It was perfect. It allowed me to make short work of my chore and performed exactly how I hoped it would. A great purchase at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I 'm 60 year old female and this is one of my most favorite tools by WORX! This JawSaw is very easy to use. Not too heavy yet heavy enough to know it's a quality tool. I go around to family & friends just looking for limbs to cut. I've had this for several years and haven't had any problems with it what-so-ever. So, if you are looking for fast & efficient limb removal then this JawSaw is for you! Bravo WORX!

a womans perfect tool, handy, lightweight cutter

purchased last year, was clearing fence rows that had not attended for 18? yrs, lots of young trees to be removed and pruned before dumping into the burn pit. I am 88 years young and carrying /using the 12" cordless chain was do-able but tiring. The JAWSAW allows me to do 3 times the work without all the time outs. So lightweight with the share power battery. It also helps strip the larger trees for more successful burns at the pit. Can't imagine how I survived without it. I now own several WORX power share tools and it keeps getting better.

I HAVE HAD MY JAWSAW FOR OVER 9 YEARS AND STILL WORK AS WELL AS EVER. I HAVE LIMED TREES FOR CUTTING ON OUR 40 ACRES. CUT DEAD FALL. IT WORKS VERY WELL. ANYTHING YOU CAN FIT INTO ITS JAWS IT WILL CUT WELL. I AM NOW 74 YEARS OLD AND STILL USING MY JAWSAW TO TRIM MY TREE. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WORX MAKE ON WITH A LARGER MOUTH IN ADDITION TO THIS MODEL.
