Not so great

Cannot get the 2 pieces together to even try it. But it is heavy so am not sure I will be able to use it. The idea it great but it should have a strap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tool, but another tool I have to store

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool hoping it'd be like the pruning saw with extension pole but was disappointed when received that it wouldn't work independent from the extension pole. Worx missed out on an opportunity to have an extremely versatile hedge trimmer that could have extension capability vs only working with an extension. Having it be extension only makes regular height hedge trimming difficult. It definitely has it use with the tall/ hard to reach hedges but those are fewer and farther between. So instead of only having to store one tool that has both low hedge and tall hedge trimming, I have to store two separate ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

light weight & easy to handle & charges fast

As soon as I unpacked the trimmer I put it to good use. It took a little adjusting to get the balance of the longer type of trimmer. It Has a powerful motor, surprising being battery operated. Once I adapted myself to its need for its proper trimming. Everything went along smoothly. Even when I extended the cutter to its full length and adjusted the angle of the head. The cut was as easy as standing on the ground…which I was. At 77ys I’m told to stay off ladders, grin. I would have given this set up a 5 star rating if I could use the cutter without the extension so I could do lower cuts without the weight or long arm to contend with. Where I live I don’t have storage room for multiple trimmers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy and long for standard jobs

Do not buy this tool if you just need to do standard jobs like bushes and small trees. My husband made this mistake and now we’re stuck with this tool. We love all of our other worx tools but this one is a no. And, man is it heavy. My arms were on fire trying to manage it while attempting to hold it and trim the sides of the bush. We bought it so I wouldn’t be leaning over the bushes so much to trim them but this is way worse. A big thumbs down.

Why no strap; too darn heavy!

This thing is too darn heavy to use. I have the regular cordless Worx hedge trimmer and love it, so I thought I'd buy this to avoid ladders and to be able to reach the top that I can't reach even with a ladder. I just tried this for the first time, and it's just TOO heavy. It should include a strap that goes around the body like the Worx video from the UK. I just wasted my money on this thing, and I am not happy. When people tell you it's heavy, unlike my stubborn self...believe them. I'm a 71-year-old woman who pretty much does all my own lifting/carrying/etc...but this is just too hard. I gave up after about 10 minutes of trying and will have to hire someone. Obviously someone at Worx knows this needs support to be useful since the UK video shows a strap, so what's the deal, Lucille?
