Bought and returned for another, thought it was broken - Even when locked when you raised the arm, it slid back to the unexpanded position - very dangerous. also, very heavy. Received the replacement and exact same thing. Returned and hope that the new version they stated would be coming out by Christmas will actually work.

Hello Valued Customer! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us understand where we can improve toward our next power tool. In the meantime, I recommend signing up for the Worx emails to stay updated with what is new.
How do I remove the extension pole so I can just use the smaller part of the trimmer. Otherwise it does not work for me at all. I thought I could use it with or without the extension pole. I need to trim smaller bushes currently.

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, you can not remove the head from the pole to use it as just a hedge trimmer. For just the hedge trimmer, we recommend purchasing our wg261. Please check out our self-help options on our website at https://www.worx.com/contact?openByDefault=true. If you are unable to find the answer to your questions, our chat team is available Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. It will be our pleasure to assist you!
I have been eyeing this pole trimmer since last year. Went ahead and ordered, but now I realize it is very heavy. Is there a strap we can buy to help make it easier to manage?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice tool but, way too heavy & awkward for the average female. Most of us don't have that long of arms to use the tool efficiently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello Valued Customer! It's unfortunate to learn that your 20v pole hedge trimmer fell below your purchase expectations. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and review. Your feedback helps us improve your DIY experience.
I own more than 20 WORX products, most of which are gardening tools and none have ever disappointed me. They are reliable, well made and for me as a 70 year old woman, easy to handle. The tools are also easy to use right out of the box-- no extensive reading materials are included. Straightforward assembly instructions and explanations are included as well as any necessary attachments. I am more than happy with the WORX items I have purchased and am always on the lookout for other items that will make my gardening projects even more enjoyable. As happy as I am with the tools and other products the Customer Service personnel is right up there with being so kind and so knowledgeable. They are such a credit to the company!
Read reviews and unfortunately dismissed those saying was too heavy..it is even top heavy for my husband. In addition it is near impossible for me (5'4" lady) to handle..barely reaching back with right arm to keep it running while balancing unit with left hand outstretched. Also their does not seem to be the power we ate accustomed to with our weed sacked from Worx. Didn't do best of job even on new growth of our grape myrtle hedge. Overall disappointed and sorry we purchased hedger. Won't be purchasing the saw attachment as planned.

I have a Hedge behind me next to my pool, was able to trim my side and will be able to keep it the way I want to avoid leaves falling in my pool! It was a little heavy so had to do on two different days. but it was HOT and Humid so that was the main issue.
