Great Trimmer!!

Does exactly what I wanted to do with it. Light, agile and the entire arrangement is rigid and easily controlled. Battery lasts for a long time, and plenty of power - it will deal with fairly heavy twigs - 5/8" or so. Depends on the wood. Wanted to make suggestions, and, in reviewing other users comments, they are mostly covered except:
How about a boot or rubber cover to protect the battery from contact with the ground during use and when you leave the tool standing upright?

Accessory short handle for close up work when the pole would be clumsy.

Yes, that annoying little cap on the butt of the trimmer got me too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had other extended pole hedge trimmers and so far this one far exceeds them in both cutting ability and the sturdiness of the pole. Even when it is extended the cutting end does not flop around like the other product I have.

I needed a hedge trimmer and I am glad I bought it with the extension. It’s not awkward and it’s easy to use. I wish I could take the extension off though and use it by itself.

lightweight, good battery life. made quick work of the 20+ hedges that needed "trimmed" down on our property. we also bought the mini chainsaw attachment.

i use this to cut weed growth in rows of blue berries. It does a good job but is a little heavy to use for several hours the way i need to. A strap to support it would help. There is a place clip snap ring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I have several bushes / plants that are very tall and grow very fast at certain times of the year. Right out of the box I put it together and trimmed one of my climbing bushes and what usually takes me at least 15 minutes just to get set up with a ladder and power cords etc. took me 2 minutes to trim. This will be a great time saver. Now I don't have get up on a ladder to use it and drag around those annoying power cords. I Iove the flexible angles that the head has.
