Misses The Mark

I am a huge supporter of the Worx brand. Throughout the years of being a homeowner, I have made several purchases of Worx tools and equipment.
That being said, it pains me to have to leave this 2-star review. The pole hedge trimmer is a huge dud. It’s simply too weak to be taken as a serious lawn tool. 20 volts is just not enough. It takes too much work to get much accomplished. Aside from its weight being an issue, the blades cut entirely too slow.
Perhaps Worx can go back to the drawing board and make one that is at least 40 volts. I assure you that would be a vast improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just unloaded my trimmer and read the owners manual
as the battery charged. Assembled the unit, tested all the features
and inserted the battery. Took it outside, removed the blade protector
and hit the switch. The motor made noise as if it was running but the blades
never moved. Reread the manual and retried. NOTHING. Got on the website
and received no troubleshooting info. Therefore, sadly disappointed!

The unit itself is too heavy to use. I can see they tried to get the lightest materials to get the weight down but it is still heavy that it is awkward to use for long jobs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice solid tool

First off, this thing is huge! Fully collapsed it is still more than 6 feet long. When I first tried to use it I hated it. The handle and power switch is all the way at the base of the unit in a very difficult position to reach and you’re trying to use the tool with two hands.It seems like it would be pretty simple to make the power switch more accessible. As I have use the tool and figured out how to make it work, it cuts great and does the job very well. So once I got past my initial impression I have been very happy with it

Have not the chance to use this new purchase because I live in wisconsin and it's winter, with snow and -4 degrees. Can't wait for it to green up so I can use this product, maybe another survey come late May.
