I ordered the Hydroshot Portable power cleaner two weeks ago and immediately wished I had ordered it two years ago. I used my pool as a water source and with the 20 foot hose, I was able to quickly clean my old, not-so-white plastic patio furniture to their original white color. I washed windows, patio screen, patio storage, and fence. What a "blast"!! My next door neighbor wants to borrow it tomorrow.

Great Low Pressure Washer!

I was on the fence about getting one of these, but after doing some research I decided that I could figure out some ways to use it even though I only had one in mind. When it arrived, I popped that big battery on the charger and started thinking about what I could wash. I bought it for backyard furniture and the dogs kiddie pool, but I was busy and didn't want to get into cleaning the backyard at the time. After the battery had a decent charge, I thought about the ability to just drop the hose in a water source and use it and decided the best place to test it would be the shower in the main bathroom.
I filled the sink with water, and I was able to clip the hose onto the plunger for the sink drain to keep it in place. I sprayed a cleaner on the walls and main tub and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I went at it with the angle set to 0 and sprayed everything down thoroughly. It looked great and it was so much easier than scrubbing it down and then using a sponge to rinse it.
Yesterday I mowed the lawn. It's getting late in the summer, so it was over a week since I last did it and the dog kiddie pool was green instead of blue. I grabbed the Hydroshot quick, hooked up the hose, stood the pool up against a lawn chair, and hit it with the 25-degree setting. It worked great except for where the water level was. That green was a little crusted on from being exposed to air from evaporation. I switched it to 15-degrees and that did the job on that stubborn ring. The dog's pool is now back to the way it looked when I bought it at the beginning of the summer. While I had it out, I hit all the table and chairs. When I was done with them, I realized that the portable hot tub cover and cleaned that off too.
It worked exactly as I wanted it too and it was so easy to just hook up and go. No dragging out the old power washer and getting it running or worrying if it was going to damage what I was cleaning. To me, it is really light and easy to use. In the spring, I'll have to hit all the plastic stuff with a power washer once, but then I'll use the Hydroshot to keep them clean the rest of the summer. Plus, I have that nice big battery to use with my Maker-X kit now. I've been using the air brush to carefully dry alcohol off half cured resin prints before putting them in for the final cure, but that's a different story.

Versatile/Handy

Bought one when it was first introduced. Have used this weekly ever since “for something”. Seems there is always a need for Hydroshot; cleaning equipment/tools/stuff, washing the car, etc. It is so easy to grab and set up. I find I use it more with a five gallon bucket of water than I do connected to a hose. I have purchased several for gifts and recently upgraded to the 750 PSI and donated my 320 PSI to the local charity thrift shop to use. Highly recommend.

I bought this a year ago and just went to use it for the 1st time to clean off the snow blower and it spit and spit and had one good 3 second burst of decent pressure and went back to spitting. Checked for clogs, none found. Motor runs but won’t push out water with any pressure. Took wand off and still no pressure. Very disappointed. I have other worx products and have been very happy with them. This is a piece of junk that wasn’t inexpensive to purchase and now is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Valued Customer. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback. In order to get the Hydroshot to spray water, you must first prime it with a garden hose by attaching the hose directly to the gun. Once this is done, you will be able to use it with a portable water source with good pressure. In order to attach the garden hose, you must first remove the orange male connector at the bottom of your tool by unscrewing it. Once this is done, a garden hose will attach right to the bottom of the tool. You must simply run the tool for about 20 seconds, and then you can remove the hose and re-attach the orange connector, and use it with a portable water source normally. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our Solution Center Team at 866-354-9679 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 6 pm EST. We'd be more than happy to assist you.

Great Tool, Especially w Attachments

I got mine as part of the car wash kit. It’s a great tool standalone, but it’s exceptional with the attachments. To appreciate this tool one needs the right expectations. A powerful gas-powered or electric power washer sprays in excess of 2000 psi. A garden hose with conventional spray attachment is at about 75 psi. The output of this tool is 320 psi. It’s great for washing the car or clearing debris from the spaces between the concrete or washing windows, but it’s not going to clean siding of an entire house. With its adjustable nozzle, this tool produces good pressure at 0° and 15°. Pressure is moderate at 25°, and at 40° and up you might as well be using the garden hose. When washing the car, I typically need two 20V battery packs to complete one car, or can rotate three battery packs for one SUV and one sedan. This tool really shines is w its attachments. The soap sprayer and wheel brush attachment work phenomenally. In summary I’m super happy with this light duty portable power washer. But it is no replacement for a heavy duty power washer when you’re doing heavy duty work.
