Great flashlight lantern.

I bought 2 of these flashlights, and what a great idea. I use them mostly as a flashlights. I'm so sick of frequently having to buy AA and D batteries for my regular flashlights. I already own about eight Worx 20V batteries as well as many Worx products. LOVE THEM ALL!!! If the power went out for a while, I would be set for LIGHT for a long time. I always try to keep all the batteries fully charged.
One suggestion to improve on these flashlights, would be to add a lot of Reflective Orange on the exterior, to make it easy to find in the dark, if the power goes out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Probably my most used Worx Power Share tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit that I wasn't sure this light would be worth the money, even though I have many, many Worx Power Share tools. Well, I am sure now, this light is amazing!
This light is just so useful and full of features. In regular flashlight mode, it provides a nice, bright beam. I've used it in this configuration from time to time and it's perfectly fine. Now, hand carrying it, the balance point is to the back, where the Power Share battery resides. If your only need is for a hand-held light, there are probably better options out there. This works fine (best with the lighter 2Ah Power Share batteries), but probably isn't comfortable enough for long treks through the dark (though it will certainly suffice for such use).
Where this light shines (pun sort of intended) is in the other modes of operation. Just pull up on the head and you have a very nice, diffused, 360 degree lantern. One click of the power switch gets you low power, another click and whatever room you're in is instantly bathed in nice, bright, white light. I've used the light in this mode extensively, both at my off-grid cabin and at home to light up a room that has no power (darned squirrels chewed the wiring in the attic). With a 4Ah battery, even on the high power setting, it seems to last forever. On low power, even more so. Even using a 2Ah battery is fine for this low power drain tool.
My next favorite mode is in "reading" mode--once the flashlight head has been extended, simply pull it down at the hinge point and it focuses the light downward. This is perfect for use on a table or workbench to add needed light for reading or working on projects.
About the only mode I've not needed (yet) is the strobe function that flashes SOS. Hope to never need that one, but it's there if I do!
In summary, this light is just so versatile and does things no other light (that I know of) can do. It works with the same Power Share batteries you already have so you'll always have a charged one available. Although its price point is just a little high (IMHO), I think it represents good value for money. I am totally happy with this light and recommend it.

Power Share LED Flashlight

Like the several other Worx tools I have, this light is rugged, highly-functional, and does just what is advertised. The four light functions are really useful; and I find I usually use it as a work light, selecting the third lighting mode which gives a lot of lantern-type lighting in one direction. That combined with the ability to tilt the light emitter many different ways makes it highly functional. I'm currently using it under a sink changing out some faucets. The light is quite bright, and as you'd expect the 20V battery drives it a LONG time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goes well with the trimmer blower and Drill. Worx needs to make a 20v dust buster type vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power and visability is truly amazing with this 20V Power Share Multi-function LED Flashlight. Yes, the is a lil more expensive than your hardware style type flashlight. But you nearly get 12hrs of contiued use out of fully charged battery and it has 4 separate settings. One of those settings is a lantern setting. You get 6hrs in that setting. Mind blowing length of time. Love mine and will be buying more in near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is much more than a flashlight... it is so nice and when I saw the price I was hesitant, but it is worth it.

Great flashlight with super lantern features. I like that it can stand on its own. As with all my WORX tools I appreciate that the batteries can share with each other.

Best Flashlight I've Had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of months ago and it is definitely the best flashlight I have owned in 65 years! It has a powerful beam for seeing Far away. In flood mode it lights up a real large area. I use the directional flood set on my night stand to read after I'm in bed. I haven't had to use the SOS signal yet and hopefully will never have to! It is bright enough to hurt your eyes though, so it should get someones attention if needed. Another good Christmas present for someone!
