Great tool for cutting weeds and runs a long time.

The tool balance is very good, cuts for a very long time with the battery that came with the unit. This tool will save you a lot of time, no more dragging a power cord to do the job.

I bought this with the intent of using the shear trimmer. I am so thrilled at how lightweight it is and how long the charge lasts. It has made trimming around flowers so much easier on my hands.

This shrubber/trimmer is not only lightweight enough for my arthritic hands to hold and control, but really does a very nice job of helping me to spruce -up the garden and bushes. This was a great find for me.

I purchased the 20V Power Share Cordless 4" Shear and 8" Shrubber Trimmer to trim the saplings from around my crepe myrtle trees. It worked like a charm!

Great concept but needs improvement

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and used it to trim all of the shrubs around my house. The small size with the 8” blade is the perfect size. It doesn’t tire my arm as I cut a lot of shrubs. However, the blade needs to oscillate about twice as fast. It’s rather slow so I can only move it at a very slow pace for it to cut adequately. The second drawback is the bottom plate that keeps the blade attached to the tool comes off very easily. It came unattached several times during use and the blade fell off. One time a small spacer also fell off and it took me 20 minutes to find it so I could reattach the blade. I was not cutting anything approaching the thickness that should have caused a problem. So, the concept is just right - a small handheld hedge trimmer that doesn’t tire you out. The cons are that it seems underpowered and the blade attachment cover needs to be better attached so it doesn’t come off during use and potentially cause lost parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
