I bought this a month ago. I can do my whole lawn twice with one charge with the new 20v. It's also a lot more power full. Edger is one slick feature.

Best trimmer & edger I have ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical that this would not be strong enough, but it was on sale, so I took a chance. I own 2 gas powered trimmers, but line would break off every 8 feet. I bought aftermarket trimmer heads for them, but no difference. Always frustrating to change line often. This battery operated Worx trimmer really surprised me. Line don't break off, & has an automatic line button to release more line as it wears down The battery lasts long enough for me to finish my front & rear lawns. Works great on my average grass lawn, light grass, bluegrass, fescue, & crabgrass. It would have a problem cutting through heavy grasses & thick weeds. But for light or average grass it is perfect. No more gasoline, electrical cords or noise to deal with, and especially those line changes. I had to change lines 4 tor 5 times every time on my gas trimmers for my lawns. Now those gas trimmers will get sold when I have garage sale or given away. Wished I would have got one of these years ago, would've saved me headaches & stress. I even payed a couple neighborhood gardeners to edge my lawns a few times, just because I did not want to deal with doing it. Now I look forward to doing my yard work ! Now I see Worx has a 40V battery trimmer, which would be better, mine is a 20V but no complaints. I highly recommend it.

I was given this as a gift 3 years ago and it still works great. I did purchase another battery for backup. Love that I get free trimmer line when I need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago and it is great. I am impressed by the clever design and quality construction. It came with 2 batteries at a very reasonable price, as saving money was my top priority. It is light, easy to use, effective and so much better than the myriad of trimmers I have had previously. It is very easy on batteries and I am looking to purchase one of WORX blowers to use the second battery, as I don't need two batteries to trim the yard. Bottom line, quite impressed, feel quite smart for ferreting out this awesome product.

Gentlemen, this is the fifth trtimmer I've had since I moved to this house fifteen years ago. Usually I spend most of my trimming time replacing the string and in most cases having to rewind same. The first time I used my Worx trimmer and edger I spent the whole afternoon without having to replace the string or drag out a 100 ft extension cord as I used to do with my previous trimmers and my edger.
And, after two weeks of intensive trimming and having to order new string I got another delightful surprise when I found out about the string for life plan. Great work, great product - I'll recommend it to anyone.

Handy & Compact Tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is the Best 3 function trimmer out there that I could find. Has sufficient power to do the average size yard with only one battery. I already own their blower and the batteries are interchangeable. This is a Great little tool for me.

Easy to use

I bought the 20V trimmer over a year ago and used it for light work around the yard. I have a very thick stand of grass in one area and had the Worx in hand so I decided to use it rather than walk back to the tool shed to get the other "orange" trimmer. I dislike that one because I spend as much time messing with the feed as i do trimming. The Worx not only did as well in the heavy growth it did it without one minute spent on maintenance. AND, it is much lighter and easier to use. Gonna put the other one in the next yard sale. All my yard tools will be replaced with Worx as soon as they wear out, or wear me out.
