[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a trimmer and edger that is easy to use AND works well. So happy I made this purchase. For the women out there, this is light weight and easy to switch between options!
I purchased this a few weeks ago, and although it works very well, I'm not happy with the batteries that came with it, in such a short period of time, neither battery will take a full charge , the green light stops blinking but when I press the test button only one light lights now, and the battery runs out much faster than it first did. Not so happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchase this because i did not want to buy a huge lawn mower just to trim a small patch of grass for my front lawn it's about 15'x6'. Initially it did really well just trimming a little off the top, but if you try to cut the thicker stuff when you get closer to the bottom of the grass there is just not enough power. The trimmer just starts whipping grass around slowing it down to the point where it just doesn't really trim anything at all. I would have trim the grass in steps, trim 1/2 then another 1/2 then the final cut so i don't slow down the motor, by doing this i go through 2 batteries for just a small portion of grass, and a lot of wasted time. The balance of this product seems to be off, like the fore grip handle is too close to the aft handle, so it feels like you are supporting the weight of the motor unit all the time. I might not have set it up correct for balance but i think the fore handle needs to be adjustable as to how far you want it on the shaft not just the angle. It's a good product for very small jobs but when it comes down to getting the job done in a timely manner, go get your self something with a lot more power so you can just trim it once and save time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every time you pull the trigger it releases more line. it wastes line and your spools run out too fast. bad design. why is there a command feed button when it releases more line every time you pull the trigger? you will go through a lot of line and spools, what a waste. so basically, you need to pull the trigger and let it run constantly while you move from spot to spot in the yard or you are wasting the line. WORX should have explained this in their advertisements. makes command feed irrelevant. maybe next model they will get smart and figure out that it should only feed more line when you press command feed button. unbeleiveable.

I bought this tool primarily to do edge work on my overgrown centipede turf. I like the power and weight of the tool but the plastic trimmer line is not quite durable enough to eat through overgrown turf. I replaced the the line on a depleted spool with a heavier gauge twine and the trimmer zipped right through the heavy turf. Now that I’ve worked through the neglected maintenance this tool along with the standard line should be sufficient to maintain a nice manicured edge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my 20 volt trimmer/edger, I’m just blown away by the the light weight power packed edger. I was able to edge our property in half the time I’m used to when using my heavy bulky gas powered blade edger. I’m planning on ordering one for my father for his birthday. I know he will love it as much as I do!
