so light weight!

i bought this last year and today the orange piece that holds the spool in broke off..how can i order a new one? love this weed-eater/trimmer, it's so light weight.

Still a great tool!

I purchased this trimmer because I have already owned 2 WORX trimmers, and was happy with the performance. My single lithium battery for the original 20V trimmer has been losing run time, and a new trimmer was a value with two batteries included! The design enhancements made since the first version make it an even better value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my husband last month and he’s been biting at the bit to use it, but there is no grass growing yet. Well, this week he found some areas in the backyard that needed trimming and when he used his WORX GT it was effortless. We bought the very first WORX GT trimmer/edger about 12/13 years ago and although it still works, he wanted a new one. We gave the older trimmer to our neighbor and he is now a fan as well! This was our 5th WORX product and we will continue to purchase WORX in this family!!! Not only durable products but very reliable.

Less power than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received the trimmer recently. Charged both batteries fully and went to trimming. I was sadly disappointed with the cutting power of the unit. It didn't efficiently trim the grass along the edge of my house or fence. I only experienced about 15 minutes of run time before each battery was basically dead. I was also under the impression the batteries would have a charge left indicator light to let me know the battery status. These batteries do not.
I also question the durabilty of this trimmer. It appears very lightweight in terms of quality build. I would not recommend this device unless you had a VERY small yard. On a positive note, it is an excellent edger. Performed a much cleaner edging along my drive and sidewalk than my edger. I guess I will look for another string trimmer and use this for just an edger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for any inconveniences you have been caused. When using the 20V GT3.0 String Trimmer and Wheeled Edger as a trimmer, we recommend cutting from the bottom if the grass is overgrown. This may mean that additional passes may be deemed necessary.
Each included 20V MaxLithium battery is designed to provide enough working time per charge to trim up to the average 1/4 acre yard on one charge. Actual results may vary on a variety of factors, including the density of the grass or weeds you’re cutting or the age of the battery pack.
For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery.

Just wished my 24 volt batteries from my first worx trimmer would work with this one. Other than that i am very happy.

Great Longevity!

I've used this trimmer for over 2 seasons now and I've NOT had one single problem with it. I'm using it in a rural/farm setting with most trimming cycles require roadside ditch culvert, machine building, pool, house and animal pin areas. I'm using almost 2 batteries every trim cycle, which I feel is good considering the heavy usage. I really like that the string has a VERY long life span and of course the free string for life is nice! The only issue I've had with it is of my own doings. It is so light weight that when I get to flinging it around I sometimes inadvertently squeeze the trigger and decapitate some of the flowers or decoration! It's been a great product, which has led to me buying an Oscillating tool and a Screw Drive gun, which haven't failed me either. Also i really like the 20V exchangeable system!!!
