I had my first Worx trimmer for about 5 years and loved it. My husband gave me a new one for Christmas with the "Command Feed" model WG163. With the spool that came in the package it worked great, but the replacement spools will not automatically feed. I have to manually do it about every 50 ft. I bought a pkg of 6 replacement spools (WA0010) and thought maybe it was just the spool but the other spools are not working either. Any suggestions?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This performs really well but I ended up gluing the wheels on because they were constantly coming off. For the price, and ability to interchange batteries with other Workx tools, I am satisfied. And really do love the line spools for life!

A great addition

I am a small women living on a large country lot. I love the way weed eaters finish our landscaping but they just exhausted me. They are hard to start and the vibration, weight and smell of our gas units made them unpleasant to say the least. This year I decided to try a battery unit. I just love it. The finish work around landscape and sidewalks is great. There is no smell, the unit is lightweight and ours came with 3 batteries so we can get a lot done. My husband made fun of me for getting the battery unit instead of the “real” gas powered ones but he used it all afternoon today. Great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the light weight and easy to use the only draw back is it is hard to a just in the weed trimming position you have to hold down with your foot and put force to a just it position

To better assist with the WG163 Worx Trimmer repositioning the trimmer the first couple of times will be a little slightly difficult if the tool is brand new . WORX grass trimmers are not to be "bumped" on the ground to extend the line. Worx GT has a history of changing the game when it comes to feeding trimming line, and the Revolution is no exception. Bumping to advance the line became a thing of the past with auto-feeding line on the first GT, and now, CommandFeed puts the control at your fingertips.
Your trimmer is equipped with CommandFeed. To efficiently feed the line, just press the CommandFeed button as needed while the machine is running until you hear the ‘clattering’ noise of the line cutting. The line will automatically feed to the perfect length for trimming. The motor will shut off when pressing the CommandFeed button and will restart when the button is released.

Perfect for me (a woman!)

I was never able to start or hold my husband's trimmer /edger. It was to hard to pull the string and too heavy for me to walk around with. I bought the String Trimmer and Wheeled Edger for ME about 2 years ago and I LOVE IT!! In fact I took it up to my sister's today and taught her how to use it. So it has already been recommended to my sister/friend. I also bought myself the chain saw - again because I did more of the yard work than my husband was able to do. I showed it to my son-in-law when he was cutting down some tree limbs for me but he said he'd rather use his own tools. After the big limbs were laying on the ground, I took the chain saw and cut them into smaller pieces. When he came outside to see what I was doing, THEN HE wanted to use that tool!! And I also bought myself the new Worx Wagon and LOVE IT. Now I can wheel around my mulch and lawn soil; I can carry my big potted plants out to my deck - another awesome tool for a women who loves to do her own yard work. THNAK YOU WORX for all your great products!!!

Great product

Ever since I first bought the trimmer and edger, I got rid of my gardener and do the mowing myself.. I definitely cannot live without this products...and the blower is a god send...
