Good tech but eats through spools fast and went through 2 batteries in under 20 mins that's bad

Each included 20V MaxLithium battery is designed to provide enough working time per charge to trim up to the average 1/4 acre yard on one charge. Actual results may vary on a variety of factors, including the density of the grass or weeds you’re cutting or the age of the battery pack. Each 20 volt 2.0Ah battery included with the WG163 provides up to 30 minutes of run time. For added runtime, we recommend purchasing an additional battery to assist with tackling larger tasks. WORX offers high capacity 20V 4.0Ah and 6.0Ah lithium batteries that will increase your runtime with twice the amp hours of our standard battery.

I have half an acre lot and cut it with a rider mower which leaves trim-work in corners and along edges. Several negative reviews left me hoping the tool and battery life would be good enough. After 3 times around the yard, I'm extremely pleased. A full charge on a battery lasts for 2 trips around the yard. Auto line feed hasn't let me down. The unit is light and easy to handle. Oh, and how does it trim? It handles 12" grass along the wooded edges as well as what the rider can't reach. I haven't tried but wouldn't expect it to bush-hog a heavy weeded area. Overall, I'd recommend this machine, again.
Used my NEW wg163 string trimmer today, what a disappointment. I didn't even trim 3 feet, line broke, took spool out, started unit, line broke..... Ok by now you get the hint... it doesn't work. What do we do from here?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recommend unwinding and rewinding the spool to make sure the line is not overlapping or stuck together. Since the trim line is biodegradable, it can melt and stick together causing the line to not feed properly. You can also try resetting the auto feed system by pressing the small square reset button on the bottom of the trimmer. It is located below the eyelet where your line feeds out on the trimmer head. If you press that 3 times, the auto feed system will reset and the line will come out properly. Be sure not to pull the line out by hand. This will tighten the line around the spool defeating the purpose of the auto feed feature. For future packs of spools purchased, We recommend storing the spools in a cool, dry place.
I bought this to clear the leaves and junk off the tennis courts that we play on every week. It works so well that my friend that plays with us is going to get one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting to but a WORX for some time now. I've had electric trimmers and gas trimmers in the past. When my gas trimmer started giving be trouble I deciede that it was time to buy a WORX. I don't know why I waited so long. This is the best and easiest trimmer I've ever owned. It came with 2 batteries and spools for life. How can you beat that deal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For seniors, it works great! Battery lasts long enough for my yard. Extra battery a plus for extra trimming. I haven’t had to take the spool apart to feed line. I would definitely buy again.
