A beautiful winter wonderland!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely not my kids first Lego set. But this is the first Lego set where they actually had to follow instructions in order to properly put this model kit together. It was a bit of a challenge for my 7 year old daughter, but a challenge is what she wanted since she was so used to the free building Lego sets where she could build whatever it is that she wanted. This particular set is actually recommended for ages 9 and up, but my 7 year old daughter actually put all of this together by herself. It took her a few days of working on it here and there when she had time but the results look nothing short of amazing. I know that I couldn't have done it any better. Definitely a lot of learning and skill building going on here for a younger child. And once completed, the feeling of accomplishment and the sight of excitement in a child's eyes as they mesmerize at what they just built is priceless. And the fun, can't forget about that! My kids spent many hours playing with this set once it had been put together. So many role playing scenarios radiates from this Lego set. From the characters and all the gear and accessories that comes with it. From hitting the slopes to having a drink at the cafe. The role playing possibilities are endless. Ultimately, this results in more hands on activities and less screen time. More creative imagination at play and less written scripts. The kids love playing with this set together and I sometimes ski down the slopes right with them. Thanks Lego for bringing a beautiful winter wonderland right to us here in sunny Southern California!

Great holiday set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set was the perfect family activity to build during these cold months. Everything came packaged and labeled beautifully. The instructions are very user friendly, even my almost 8 year old daughter was able to read and build on her own! We love all the little details this set has, like the like the pine trees with snow, the staircase and cute little winter fox! There are lots of colors and everything is so detailed. This is a large set and took us a few nights to complete. The finished product is amazing and we plan on displaying it this winter. Overall we are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!

Fun to put together

There are lots of colors and everything is so detailed including the cool minifigures. The instructions are very user friendly. I must say it was a bit of a challenge but fun to put together. The finished product is amazing, and we plan to put it on display. We are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!

A winter ski wonderland

The set overall is beautiful, filled with details like the wending machine in the cafe, how the initials of the last lego friends group are written in the cave or the little spot for the cute snow fox under the ski slope and lastly i want to point out the trees they’re so beautiful and they add so much to the building so there isn’t just this free space. This set is perfect for the winter time or just for display :)
