I recently had the opportunity to test out the collection cups as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I've been using it alongside my Freestyle.
One of the standout features of this product is how seamlessly the cups integrate with my nursing bra. It's a game-changer for multitasking, as I can comfortably go about my day while ensuring I'm still pumping efficiently. As someone who's into power pumping to boost output, this product has become an essential part of my routine.
However, I've noticed a minor setback that seems to be common with many pumps I've used—the cups tend to shift around when I'm on the move and start to sweat. This snug fit issue affects the overall suction, leading to a less effective pumping session. It's worth noting that I've experienced this with other pumps as well, so it's not unique to this product. It would be great if the manufacturers could address this challenge and come up with a solution that maintains the snug fit even in sweaty conditions.
The components that come with the collection cups are impressive and fit me perfectly. Cleaning is a breeze too, thanks to the design that allows easy access to every nook and cranny. I appreciate the attention to detail in this aspect.
While the moisture issue due to heat is a concern, it doesn't overshadow the product's overall convenience and effectiveness. I would still recommend the cups to fellow breastfeeding moms, as it offers a level of convenience that makes pumping more manageable in busy schedules.
It has the potential to be a game-changer for nursing moms who are looking to pump more efficiently. Its integration with the Freestyle and comfortable fit in nursing bras are its standout features. Easy, multi tasking friendly time saver

I have been meaning to try out collection cups for the longest time and was so glad when the Stellar Product testing panel offered the Medela Hands Free collection cups for me to test out.
The cups were very simple and user friendly. One of my biggest worries was that they wouldn’t stay on while I was trying to do other things but that was not an issue at all. Fellow mamas know the endless list of tasks we need to do in a day and I’m so glad I was able to multitask with these. Previously when I would go to pump, I would be stuck holding the pump and unable to do much else during the session. This was my favourite feature, being hands free while pumping.
As with all other Medela products I’ve tried, the parts were super easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning.
The only thing I would change is that it would be nice to have a larger capacity to collect milk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received these Medela Hands Free Collection Cups for free to try and review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel!
When I saw that the Stellar Product Testing panel was looking for testers to try out the new Medela Hands Free Collection Cups I had to jump on the opportunity and they certainly did not disappoint. I've been using them with my Medela Pump in Style Maxflow and it has been a dream. They are very easy to assemble and come apart for easy cleaning. I enjoyed how hands free they actually are. They sit nicely in a bra without the bulk of a traditional pump. I found that I was able to move around freely while pumping which saved me a considerable amount of time. For example: doing my hair and makeup or folding the laundry was still possible while pumping. I found I didn't have to worry about the milk spilling white moving around which was an added bonus. When done pumping, the milk is easily transferred from the cups to either a bottle or a milk storage bag.
Although Medela notes that you do not need to remove the o-ring each time you go to clean your cups I did experience some milk getting under them so I opted to remove them for a thorough clean. This did not add much time or effort to the very simple cleaning process.
Overall, I wish I had these earlier on in my baby journey! Great product and I would recommend them!

Must Have for Medela Pumps!

Are you sick of feeling and smelling like a dairy cow while pumping? Well, these Medela hands free collection cups have you covered. Not only are they smaller than other hands-free cups, compared to the originals that came with my freestyle pump, they leak less and hold just about the same amount of milk. They fit in most of my bras, so no need for designated pumping bras, and are really comfy to wear. I wear them while doing all sorts of things around the hous, and they stay snug most of the time. While I was able to do similar things with my other cups, they would often leak or spill if I moved too much, especially near the end of a pumping session. Overall, cleaning and assembly are easy, the o-ring is pretty cool as it creates a very tight seal. The only downside is there's no tab for easy opening after pumping, but other than that, I have had no issues and find them really easy to use. I haven't had to clean the O-Ring with the cups, but if milk did get in there, it wouldn't be difficult to sanitize. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me test this product, I love it, and would highly recommend this product for any moms looking for improved pumping collection cups that don't leak!

Worth every penny

This is worth every penny. It's portable, insanely quiet, has powerful suction and increased my supply. Meleda has made it easier to pump and care for little ones without having to worry about them pulling hoses or bottles. Multitasking made easy.
The cups are nicely shaped. They fit perfectly inside my nursing/regular bra and have a natural shape to them. I do look like I have large breasts, but honestly with a looser fitting top, pumping in public is no big deal. The cups are a better shape and size than some that I’ve seen and the option to customize the shield size is key. Very comfortable and easy to see nipple alignment/let down through the clear side. I also love that there is an audible click when the cup are assembled correctly as it makes worrying about leaks a thing of the past (a common issue with many wearable pumps). The simple design with very few parts has made it quick and easy to clean which is ideal for a busy mama.
The tubing can be configured two ways: inward or outward and can easily be strung down inside of shirt for even more discreet pumping. Tubing length is adequate and seems sturdy.
It's tricky to pick a favorite feature when I have nothing but great things to say about the collection cups and pump. The fact that the collection cups are compatible with other Medela pumps is amazing. There's no need to buy a specific pump or a new pump in order to use the collection cups. I also appreciate that the connector accessory is included with the cups.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump accessory. The Medela Freestyle Hands Free and collection cups will always be my go-to accessories!

Some improvements needed

I was excited to receive this breast pump accessory from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
My first impression was that they were easy to assemble with little help from the instruction manual and comfy to wear.
I found them difficult to view into the cups to see the milk flow or to see how full they were getting. I was able to continue on my evening without worry and with 2 hands to clean the kitchen before bed, while pumping!
I wish there was a clearer measurement guide on the collection cups so I could see how much each breast was able to collect before pouring into the bags. It would also be very useful to have a spout to pour from so the milk doesn't spill so easily.
My favourite thing about this accessory is cleaning it, so quick and easy with only a few parts to dissemble and clean.
